Take your time lol while your considering this one, how about all the texts that Jesus spoke about of keeping the commandments all of them, he clearly spoke up for the Jews of the old way many times.

so your saying this has been fulfilled ?The prophecy was fulfilled in the lifetime of King Ahaz, the man Isaiah was talking to. If the prophecy is referring to a child born hundreds of years later when King Ahaz was long dead and the sign would do him no good.
Isaiah 7:14
King James Version (KJV)
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
so your saying this has been fulfilled ?
so who is the son then if it was fulfilled.
so you see E′phraim as the first son and do you see this prohesy about E′phraim. The son is the one named Immanuel by his mother. It seems that Isaiah is pointing to a specific woman known to both Ahaz and Isaiah. We do not believe the word is "virgin" but "young woman", but that doesn't even matter once you put it in context. The immediate sentences after the single sentence you posted is...
15 He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good. 16 For before the child knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land before whose two kings you are in dread will be deserted. 17 The Lord will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your fathers house such days as have not come since the day that E′phraim departed from Judahthe king of Assyria.
So, by the time he knows to refuse evil and choose good he will eat curds and honey. This means that the Southern Kingdom of Judah will be prosperous when the child is old enough to know good from evil. Also, BEFORE the child knows good from evil, the kings that are opposing Ahaz will be destroyed.
Clearly this cannot be about a baby born hundreds of years later.
WELL christians see the name Immanuel as the meaning of God is with us, which refers to what Christians believe as Christ being with us alive as a son walking the earth. that is why it is seen a s prophesy about Jesus from Christians. (Do you believe any of your fellow Jews have made it to heaven. ?
so you see E′phraim as the first son and do you see this prohesy about E′phraim.

The text from Hosea is a statement about the past. Prophesies are about the future. Hence, it is not a prophecy. Is this really that difficult?Well i never thought it was untill my friend here used it as an argument against the prophesy i posted about Isiah 53, but afte further study of hosea 11:1 i am beginning to think it is.
