Trump will end the war by handing Putin Sudetenland. Then Putin will come for Czechoslovakia and that will mean we have to send America troops. Are you for that?

Because Russia has been sending troops in and supporting the 'separatist' movements in those oblasts. That is what Ukraine has been fighting there, not America.

Ukraine needs the tools to do the job themselves, which they are doing.

Russia is and has been a menace for decades. This will effectively disarm them for a decade or more due to their massive failings, incompetence and corruption.

Trump wouldn’t be doing anything close to this. He’d be carving up Ukraine as part of ‘a deal’ as if it’s some acquisition of another company.

Ukraine just needs the support to do what needs to be done. Nearly 300,000 dead Russians already. Most of their military is in ruin and they will keep adjusting their conscription parameters to throw more meat into the grinder until they have to accept defeat.

It’s insane. They’ve lost more troops already than Poland lost during the entirety of WW2.

They are making progress… what do you mean?

They are regaining territory and they have breached the main defensive line and are establishing a foothold and advancing.

Ukraine is requesting the tools in its fight for self-determination. America of all countries should understand and respect that.

They’re prepared to fight and it’s their homeland. It’s not NATO or anyone else’s place to tell them to concede territory etc.

Didn't say it was OK, just pointing out that Russia has been taking and trying to take parts of Ukraine for years. Ukraine has a right to fight back.

As for sending troops, something major would have to change in the war. Add I would think it would not be just the US, but all of NATO. That is the only way I could see us sending troops. Otherwise, it would be worse than Afghanistan, with a side order of nukes.

Based on Trump ignoring when Putin has already violently annexed Austria for four years when he was in the White House, I have hard time believing he’d have lift a finger now that Putin is in Sudetenland.

Killing and war go together. I blame the aggressor for the deaths, and if we need more people to stop the war and the killing the so be it; more people will die until the aggressor retreats.

No, but I can take a guess. Stop giving support to Ukraine at minimum, probably force them to peace talks, and let Russia take half the country.

I understand not wanting people killed, but the final level of disagreement is violence. It stops the argument when you kill the other guy. That is what Putin wants, no more disagreement that Ukraine is part of Russia. But Ukraine doesn't want that and is willing to fight to the death to stop it from becoming a part of Russia.

From my point of view, Russia could just leave Ukraine and that would stop the killing. But that does not look like it will happen any time soon.

No, that is Zelensky calling Trump on his bluff and asking for Trump to share his peace plan before getting into office. A fair call. If Trump has a good plan then Zelensky has something that will work, if not then we can all see how bad it is.
