No it doesn't.More fundamentally, this makes God and His plan of salvation dependent on man.

Faith is a gift from the Father Doing As He Pleases.I've been trying to get an Arminian to address the issue why one would choose to believe an another not choose to believe.
What is their decision based upon?
The Father in heaven be Praised for revealing Salvation to little children who don't even ever hear that phrase and who don't have any idea what it means !The Arminian concept of prevenient grace seems to contradict scripture.
Choose TODAY who you will serve.First, there is no decision that leads to salvation.
This looks like a big bias, and an error, and an unfounded assumption -Another failure is that Arminianism denies God's love.
Have you ever met a Calvinist who was a warm and loving guy?
The basic claim Arminians make is "You must choose to believe in order to be saved".
But you must already believe [have the Holy Spirit] or you would not choose to believe.

The basic claim Arminians make is "You must choose to believe in order to be saved". But you must already believe [have the Holy Spirit] or you would not choose to believe. And Jesus says whoever believes has eternal life. So choosing to believe is a quasi repentance that leads to true repentance.

When I was 22, I was flat broke in a WV coal mining town. I stopped in a Free Will Baptist parking lot on a Saturday night to sleep in my car. I tried to drive out the next morning, but was out of gas. Sunday AM an elderly man from the church greeted me. He found I was in need. He brought a jar of hot coffee and breakfast to me. I went to the church service with my Bible in hand. I was lost in sin, but thought Christianity might be the way to salvation. They took up a collection for me. I had enough gas money to get back to my home in another state. God asked me to send them a check and pay back what they gave me. I did. The church wrote a thank you note and sent my Bible to me. I had left it in their pew. Free will used for God is a joyful thing.Who knows anything about John Calvin or Jacob Arminius these days? When I was going to the Freewill Baptist church neither Calvin or Arminius was ever mentioned, and it was not until decades later until I figured it out, and it was only because I was curious and had to do independent study. I was brought up GARBC baptist and now am a member Pentecostal Holiness, and in all my years of living I have never heard John Calvin or Jacob Arminius mentioned in a sermon
Yes. He's in heaven now...R. C. Sproul.Have you ever met a Calvinist who was a warm and loving guy?
Yes, it does.No it doesn't.

As you know, even the demons believe and shudder in terror at the judgment they know is soon.Jesus was saying if a person chooses to believe, they have at the moment of belief, salvation. And as long as they continue to believe, they will continue to have salvation.
In my experience, it is not so much one's theological position which makes a person loving. It is rather their application of that position which affects their behavior toward other people.Have you ever met a Calvinist who was a warm and loving guy?
Jesus said or asked if He would find faith on earth when He Returns, right?
So you get saved twice? The basic claim Arminians make is "You must choose to believe in order to be saved". But you must already believe [have the Holy Spirit] or you would not choose to believe. And Jesus says whoever believes has eternal life. So choosing to believe is a quasi repentance that leads to true repentance.
