Paul is saying that...true enough...but why do you ignore that these Gentile saints WERE PLEASED to do so.

Probably because you don't get it...they had a right Spirit. Their willingness shows the Holy Spirit working in them.

Paul then speaks from the same point of view he shares in Romans 11:17-24.

9 And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Colossians 3:23-25
23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
25 For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.

This is the issue, Jews and Gentiles are on the same footing with God and they are ONE in Christ. The scripture says it repeatedly, yet you choose to ignore that.

Paul makes it very clear in Ephesians 3 that he presents this by revelation from God:

Elijah doesn't appear PRESTO!, he is a normal person born of a women just like John the Baptist and will minister God's word to the fallen church, through the reconciliatory Son Christ Jesus.

The Third Angel's Message calls us to keep the commandments of God and reject the mark of the Beast. Keeping the commandments of God is solely tied to the gospel of Christ who redeemed us from certain death. The SEAL of God being tied to true worship in the Spirit whilst the false worship is an outward worship that is compliant with rules and regulations of ecclesiastical and political driven two horn beast power that unites in the final hour to martyre the true church that emerges out of the shadows of both the ecclesiastical Pharisaical system (1st horn) and the politically driven Sadducees system (2dn horn).

Basically the End time Event will parallel the End of days for the Old covenant era back in 70AD.

However the end of days for the New Covenant is the destruction of man, beast and earth and a climax to the Marriage of the lamb where the wedding is fully furnished with all the resurrection saints who had part in the first resurrection from when the Old Covenant saints graves were opened after Christ's resurrection right up to the last guests the elect at the end of the harvest hanging it out barely on a lifeless barely liveable planet, just before Christ comes as an angelic light presence to sound the seventh trumpet declaring time no longer and an end to the physical realm as we know it.

The New realm is the angelic realm where they dwell with Christ in the Heavenly sanctuary as the last Adams in an eternal timeless angelic realm. This is not an intangible spiritual realm, but is a more real and tangible than the realm we live in today in our Adam One bodies. Our Adam One bodies are our interface to experience the physical realm we live in now, however the Heavenly realm is leaps and bounds above what we can imagine that we will experience when we are given the interface of a heavenly angelic body.

Mansions are symbols of experiences that a resurrected saint will interface with in a more real and tangible place than our limited ONE ROOM PERSPECTIVE reality in our earthly realm, that isn't much of a mansion is it? but more like a ghetto.

So Heaven is more real than you can imagine and it is a place, however is it PHYSICAL?

Not in the sense of physical that you perceive physical from an earthly realm perspective, but tangible, oh yeh!

My analogy of our realm compared to the heavenly realm is compared as follows:

A dot represents our earthly reality

Whilst the heavenly is a multidimensional equation that is not a mere dot on a page in life but an equation that can yield many shapes and forms that consist of an infinite array of points that make up those shapes and forms.

Take for example a dot and now compare that dot to an equation that yields a straight line consisting of many dots. Could you see the vast difference in perspective from a mere dot to a line. A dot has no direct yet a line has both direction and length and a physical attribute that is more tangible than a meaningless dot.

You misunderstand Malachi 4. He said the "Sun of Righteousness" would come with "healing in His wings."
This we know was the Messiah, Jesus.

Then Malachi says that beforehand, God would send Elijah the prophet.

And since the apostles were told & understood Jesus about John the Baptist coming in the spirit of Elijah, before Him- there is not much left to know.

Did John turn the Jews hearts to the fathers, etc? Only some of them. That's why Malachi says that the land would be struck with a curse.

6 And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,

The name Elijah signifies a function that he is to perform associated with that name Elijah. Eli meaning My God and Yah meaning Yahweh represents the function of declaring the identity of the true God.
Now at the start of the chapter the sun of righteousness is mentioned who is Jesus Christ the Messiah. Scripture tells us that it was he who declared who the unseen Father is.
That leaves us one conclusion that the name belongs to God and his Christ.
But in this chapter who is this Elijah to when God says in Malachi 4:4

remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees I gave him at Horeb for all of Israel

God is recollecting his promise to Moses mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:16-18

Moses was a type of LOGOS acting on behalf of his boss the Christ. Here Moses pleads with God that when he was at Horeb and in the presence of God that almost killed him. Do Good in response to Moses genuine complaint, said I will send you the prophet from amongst your people.

In Malachi 4:4 God reminds the people of Israel that the prophet and the sun of righteousness are all the same functions of one man the Messiah. That is why there is much contentions about Jews accepting Jesus as deity because they were expecting only a property unbeknown to them that the spirit of prophecy and the Messiah anointing falls on that one person Jesus Christ.

That is why in New testament scripture John writes that Moses gave the law but truth and gave came by Jesus and it was Jesus who declared the unseen God Yahweh.

Which is why the name Elijah, the prophet, the Messiah all belonged to the one person and others were all acting in those positions on behalf of their Lord.

John was come in the spirit and power of Elijah and so will the end time Elijah yet the true Elijah that the name belongs to is the appointed Christ. That is why when John the Baptist was asked these three questions are you the Messiah, are you the prophet, are you the Elijah he rightfully said no because his boss who he acted for in his name was already introduced and therefore John reverted back to his none acting role as a Jewish believer.

Christ put it that Elijah must first come referring to another John the Baptist commissioned man at the end of time for the new covenant people just like John was sent to the old covenant. However the Elijah that comes at the end is commissioned by God the Father directly whilst the Baptist was commissioned by the son. In that respect this Elijah is acting on behalf of the ancient of days the resurrected glorified Christ sitting as God in the Holy of Holies.

Jesus would point out that Elijah had already come past tense when John was acting in that position for a time before the Messiah appeared on the scene.

Because Christ sits on the right hand of God as judge and executioner the last Elijah he commissions must fulfill the role of Jonah meaning to warn people to turn back to the true faith. Christ uses this man to put his house his body of believers in order before he sitting as God unleashes the wrath of God.

This Elijah must be also tied to Christ saying when the men of Nineveh will come to condemn the generation that typifies the end Jewish generation yet to convert. Therefore this Elijah must be from the opposite side of the fence where now it is a man selected from the men of Nineveh as the Elijah to warn the house of Jacob. This ironic reversal from the old covenant Jonah to the new covenant Jonah places God's hand behind this Elijah.

It will be a good samiritan from the opposite side of the family to bring warning to the disobedient Jacobs family before destruction of the world that know represents Babylon.

As the saying goes the first (Jews) will be last
And the last (gentiles ) will be first.

But when these stragglers come last as the parable of the workmen is concerned symbolizing them as the 11 th hour employed workmen they to will receive a dollar for their efforts.

You see how God is loving even to the disobedient tribe of Jacob.

There are pretty clear reasons why the two witnesses are not literally Moses and Elijah.

Revelation 11 gives us three descriptions of the two:

1. They are two olive trees (Rev 11:4)

2. They are two lampstands. (Rev 11;4

3. They have the POWER of Moses and Elijah (Rev 11:6)

They won't be Moses and Elijah.

The two witnesses are symbols of the new covenant church.
Zechariah 4 describes them as pouring out the golden oil of salvation. This is part and parcel of the great commission priesthood.

Two related to how Jesus sent them in twos into every city. Two represents the transferal of law and the prophets that Jesus showed and charged them not to tell anyone until he had breathed on them the Holy Ghost, the future transferal of Elijah and Moses ministry was shown on the mount of transfiguration.
Two also symbolizes the pregnant women the 1 St century apostolic church that was ready to deliver the gospel of the child/son and she was clothed with the son which represents the gospel that is where the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and under her feet was the moon symbolizing fulfillment of mosaic law.

So you have old and new law and prophecy tied to the church commissioned priesthood that symbolized the seven spirits and eyes of the Lord going forth across the whole world and calling people to God through the gospel of the son.

Gold is a symbol of DEVINE AUTHORITY and this was passed from the Old Testament prophets ELIJAH AND MOSES that appeared on the MOUNT OF TRANSFIGURATION where Jesus charged his disciples to tell no man until the transfer is complete when Christ arose and breathed on them the HOLY GHOST empowering them in the GREAT COMMISSION.

Basically the verse below reveals the two symbolic witnesses that are the Holy Ghost authored and empowered priestly authority who are empowered to speak words with the power of the Holy Ghost, so that if they condemn their enemies, their enemies will be spiritually devoured and killed after they physically die to face judgement. They are empowered to condemn the enemies of Christ and this condemnation will be used against them in the heavenly court before Christ.

The heavenly resurrected Old Testament court being seated with Christ in Heaven. The Heavenly court is described in the verse below as the TEMPLE OF GOD, AND THE ALTAR, and THE RESURRECTED OLD COVENANT SAINTS THAT WORSHIP THEREIN.

The EARTHLY COURT is without the TEMPLE, where the TEMPLE IS THE CHRIST SEATED IN HEAVEN WITH HIS HEAVENLY COURT. This EARTHLY COURT is not yet redeemed as the MEASURED HEAVENLY COURT with the already INVITED OLD COVENANT SAINTS, so this court is without Christ and is left unmeasured unto the GENTILES which symbolises the unbelieving WORLD that are yet to be redeemed by the blood of the lamb of God, because they have not yet been brought to Christ by FAITH in the GREAT COMMISSION DIRECTIVE.

Revelation 11:1-3
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

We now know that the two symbolic witnesses are part and parcel of the Great Commission of the Apostolic priestly authority, to preach the gospel and to BAPTIZE by water into Christ as they spread the message that contains the GOLDEN OIL OF SALVATION to the whole world.

If you will note the 42 months equate to the 1260 symbolic days that represents the Apostolic Church age. As the number 42 is used to convey persecution by the world that these Great Commission priestly authority are trying to spread the salvation message to and the 1260 days represent the TIME, TIME AND HALF A TIME of Daniel's Prophecy that these witnesses are given to spread the message.

Both the number 42 and 1260 provide the same Apostolic Age whilst providing a different contextual meaning to each applied sentence.

So the number 42 in context to the persecution at the hands of the GENTILES symbolises Apostolic Church being oppressed and its witnesses martyrd for the sake of preaching the gospel and this has happened all over the world since the advent of preaching the gospel and continues to happen today.

So the number 1260 in context to witnessing represents a race against time (TIME, TIME AND HALF A TIME) to preach the gospel in all the world whilst being empowered by DEVINE COMPLETENESS AND AUTHORITY of GOD's GLORY to a stiff neck and prideful people of the WORLD AT LARGE.

THEREFORE THE TWO WITNESSES ARE A SYMBOL OF THE APOSTOLIC PRIESTLY COMMISSION THAT WAS AUTHORED AND EMPOWERED BYBTHE HOLY GHOST BREATH OF CHRIST AFTER HE HAD SHOWN HIS DISCIPLES THE POWER TRANSFERAL OF MOSES (representing the law) AND ELIJAH (representing the prophets).
