Why shouldn't we smear people who follow a false God as terrrorists, if you are all certain that you follow the correct one?

Because most of them aren't terrorists, in spite of their religion.

ETA- you're still arguing against #thingsIneversaid

That's beside the point. How are we (to use the phrase in the OP) smearing all of Islam based on ISIS, when we would expect Christianity to receive better treatment. Is it because Muslims are following a false prophet to their own destruction, as his been explained here. How do we condemn them, if they have had their own spiritual experience that has led them toward Allah?

I get your point. falsification of one's religion is no ground for terrorism.Terrorist theology breeds terrorists.

So terrorists should be treated differently based on their religion?

Based on their theology, yes.

And what's the big deal with virgins?

Don't you like the idea of eternal heaven for the small effort of killing some unbelievers ?.Bigger bang ;) for relatively small buck.

IRA members believed themselves martyrs too.
That is based on some idea of honor. Those ideas can change with time and circumstances. They are not set in stone.

I am proposing a direct comparison between these Christians who are condemning all of Islam, and myself who could rather simply condemn all of Christianity.
What did Mohammed teach?
What did Christ teach?
Islam is wrong because it is a false religion, made up by a reprobate who would be imprisoned in a nation of laws.
Christ had the highest judge in the land say that he could find no fault in the man. Huge difference.
Christ taught us that nobody comes to the Father but through Him. Mohammed taught his followers to ignore the words of Jesus; to listen to him instead. Those tho follow Mohammed follow him to their own destruction. Those who follow Christ find salvation.
The greatest victims of Islam are its followers.

It would seem worthwhile to become a Christian while ignoring Christians. But apparently, communion is everything.
Christian means "of Christ." If you try to walk in darkness you will fall. If you try to walk in flickering light you will lose your way. Follow the true light; Jesus Christ. Live by His words and His teachings. Don't let the failures of flawed people be your guidepost. Many will proclaim themselves to be Christian. How many do you think Christ will affirm as His own?
It is easier to disregard the whole religion as a mess rather than deal with the hate, the bigotry, the idolization of faith, and especially the confusion of "I'm right, those guys are wrong" that happens on every conceivable subject.
Only on the subjects that Christ addressed.
One of these was that there is only one way to Heaven. One. Not more.
It's not bigotry to acknowledge that which Christ taught us. Rather, it is wrong to be silent and let others be destroyed by not sharing the word of the Lord with them.

Then if Islam is a terrorist theology, we should just destroy Islam, right?
Yes.
One soul at a time. Destroy them by winning them to the Lord.
Save them from the destruction that awaits all who follow false gods and false religions.

Not to those who claim we should just bomb the entirety of the middle east and be done with it. I find they all believe in a particular religion.

If it comes to that turning kaaba in to molten glass could help. But, that is an extreme measure with unknown consequences and never going to happen. At least until robust alternative energy sources are invented.

Really. So it isn't the act that we condemn, but the belief behind it?

Both.It is obvious is it not ?.The theology makes the terror act more deadly more unpredictable more ferocious.

I'm not keen on the idea of heaven at all.

Only because you think it is not real.

But faith in Islam is?

Strong faith that instills fear of hell and allure of heaven.

Inquiring. Leaving nothing up to speculation. Hoping to hear explicitly that genocide is still wrong.

That is not genocide.I said kaaba not entire middle east. Again it is speculation with unknown consequences.I also qualified it saying when it comes to that.
