We had a record low this morning - 55F! And it is only around 80 today! This is so much cooler than normal, and we are appreciating it before the long hot summer sets in.

It's hot again here, as is typical for this time of year. The morning low was 68 (average) and it will be over 90 today (above average). However, it will be a nice sunny day today, on our 16th wedding anniversary, with not one chance of rain. :)

gratefulgrace, glad you could sit out for a bit and enjoy the weather.

We got a really nice rain this evening, just what we've been praying for. And, more is on the way. Farmers and ranchers all over our area of the state are giving thanks. People don't understand how difficult drought is in terms of expense and effort. They were having to haul water and buy feed for livestock. Normally, this is handled by mother nature. This doesn't address the crops that were either lost or stunted. Let's just say that we give thanks.
