Actually the sun did come out today quite unexpectedly and it was been reasonably bright. My son was able to go out rambling in his wheelchair and didn't get rained on which made him very happy.

It was nice today in the 80's, with some cloudiness. Sun. is supposed to be in the 80's and up to 90 degrees for Memorial Day.

Jeremiah 29:11 It's good!
Here lately every day we get some rain and some shine. And in order to not walk in a down pour we have to get out and walk while the sunshines. Sometimes that means only 1/2 hour until another dark cloud mass comes our way. Don't mind the rain but the heavy rains are a hinderance to outdoor activities of any kind.

69 F and clear, 30 percent chance of storms overnight. Clear and hot tomorrow.
In the meantime, the entire Chicago metro area is under flood warning. Low lying areas especially.

The temperature here was 93 degrees today, and for Memorial Day is supposed to be 95. The rest of the week the temps. are expected to be in the 90's. Summer is here.

So far it is kind of sunny no rain. Temp is 54 degrees expected to hit a high of 65 F. Heading in the right directions but still very unsettled.

State of Emergency in MA after tornadoes; 4 dead....massive destruction across the state.
Thankfully we just saw severe storms with wind, hail, and rain with no damage reported here yet
The front has passed and cooler, drier air is working in...60's tonight; 70's through the weekend.

Sounds like us except until about 3 pm it was quite nice then the dark and I mean dark clouds rolled in. It rained torrentially lightened up thundered and lightening ensued then it started again. My poor son was coming home via bus in his wheelchair and got soaked. I was getting a bit worried but I guess he stopped under cover at the bus transfer point hoping it would stop but it didn't then he had to wheel home about two blocks. He said it was pretty scary.
