So, when did being in a relationship become defined as living with someone? I always thought it meant going out on dates, spending time together, talking or texting for hours to get to know each other, and then moving in or even courting. It honestly makes no sense to me. But, then again, maybe I am just old-school.

I actually just got a reply from them saying that they would be back in town at Mule Kick next Friday night! That last time was perhaps one of the most pleasant evenings I had ever spent after just getting out of work for a few days. I look forward to this one, too. ^-^

I just got the good news that I will be accepted as a pastor at my church within the next couple of months! They want me to graduate first (not that it's a qualification. I was told I'm more than qualified), but around late July it will happen! I'm sooo blessed! I've overcome so much, both of the world and my past self and the mistakes I made. I never thought I'd get here, but the Lord is so good!

I ... uh ... am starting to roast in the heat with my power being out, and it seems to be just my apartment, not an entire area. Maybe the roof workers right above me today hit something. Please pray that the landlord can figure this out and get me fixed up before long.

To think, all that trouble with being out of power and air for almost 24 hours, rewiring through the ceiling and everything ... all due to a single roofing nail hitting the wrong spot.

Whew, after 48 hours of having no power and/or malfunctioning air conditioning .... I KNOW I am going to revel in the feeling of it being 71 degrees in my home again whenever we finally figure out this problem.

I thought I would have to wait until tomorrow for someone to come in for this, but it looks like for now I am already able to revel in that 71 degree environment that my heart was so yearning for. I just tried shutting the air off completely for a while, then back on. Hopefully this will work permanently. After all, considering it is Lady Winter whose company I prefer to spend the majority of my time in, and not the Lord of Summer, you can imagine that Sarah's Knight does not keep very well in 80 degrees.

Another thing - it irks me when men get upset about these kinds of appearances. They're hung up on a woman's appearance and a woman must have certain beauty standards or they're considered undateable. What happened to looking at someone's insides and finding beauty there?

I see 'if you're ugly, you're more liberal, if you're pretty, you're more conservative' everywhere.

I'm not sure where people get this idea from. A lot of (what the world calls) good-looking & pretty people are very liberal. They rely on their looks & think their looks are what matters. They use their looks to advance themselves. They don't stop & think b/c they're shallow. They are part of (what the world calls) powerful & so like what the world says.

A lot of (what the world calls) not-so-good looking people & not-so-pretty people are very conservative. They know they can't rely on their looks. There must be something more then looks.

It’s like what I was reading once: men who go to church expecting to meet some (what the world calls) hot girl there are often disappointed

I don't know what's happening to women. It's like they're in an extreme phase. I saw this earlier and I'd like to believe it's a stage but I know otherwise. If it isn't woke weirdness it's crazy procedures. I hope it stops.

I don't know if it's a phase they'll grow out of. But some will by the grace of God.
