Whew, after 48 hours of having no power and/or malfunctioning air conditioning .... I KNOW I am going to revel in the feeling of it being 71 degrees in my home again whenever we finally figure out this problem.

I thought I would have to wait until tomorrow for someone to come in for this, but it looks like for now I am already able to revel in that 71 degree environment that my heart was so yearning for. I just tried shutting the air off completely for a while, then back on. Hopefully this will work permanently. After all, considering it is Lady Winter whose company I prefer to spend the majority of my time in, and not the Lord of Summer, you can imagine that Sarah's Knight does not keep very well in 80 degrees.

Another thing - it irks me when men get upset about these kinds of appearances. They're hung up on a woman's appearance and a woman must have certain beauty standards or they're considered undateable. What happened to looking at someone's insides and finding beauty there?

I see 'if you're ugly, you're more liberal, if you're pretty, you're more conservative' everywhere.

I'm not sure where people get this idea from. A lot of (what the world calls) good-looking & pretty people are very liberal. They rely on their looks & think their looks are what matters. They use their looks to advance themselves. They don't stop & think b/c they're shallow. They are part of (what the world calls) powerful & so like what the world says.

A lot of (what the world calls) not-so-good looking people & not-so-pretty people are very conservative. They know they can't rely on their looks. There must be something more then looks.

It’s like what I was reading once: men who go to church expecting to meet some (what the world calls) hot girl there are often disappointed

I don't know what's happening to women. It's like they're in an extreme phase. I saw this earlier and I'd like to believe it's a stage but I know otherwise. If it isn't woke weirdness it's crazy procedures. I hope it stops.

I don't know if it's a phase they'll grow out of. But some will by the grace of God.

But then, Miss Dresden and her brunette-headed sister do present a most formidable duo of lady singers. I highly doubt I will be the only one to fall under their charm this evening.

They have started off with a Beatles song. Was never a huge fan of The Beatles personally, but still ... good choice.


Also, Miss Dresden's hair is done up in pigtails this time! Truly a charming vision of loveliness to behold.

At least for a guy like Sarah's Knight.

As I said before, the first time I happened to be at Mule Kick after work when they were performing, one day about a year ago, it ended up being one of the most pleasant evenings of my life. Not just my being charmed by Miss Dresden and her sister because of how they sang and performed, but just the content atmosphere among everyone there in general.

Truly this is a pleasant evening to reflect on the good things that God has created.

We may be sinners, and indeed in my time I myself have managed to shock even me sometimes with the wickedness that i was capable of, but I imagine He still cares, and does not see absolutely everything as an abomination worthy of death or torture, because I also can't help but think that He would not have bothered to send His Son to die for our sins in the first place if He did.

It's hard for me to say which state I found prettier overall on my recent travels to find a new city to live in - Michigan or Minnesota. They were both great.
