I have read all of the Bible at least once except for some of the Prophets.

I have read Genesis, Exodus, Job, & the New Testament bunches of times. (The New Testament I'm always reading, usually just open it up & start reading)

I used to be good about reading the Bible stricting from Genesis to Revelation, but sometime in the past few years, I decided to skip around. After being in the Old Testament awhile, I felt like I needed to read the New Testament.

Churches are too focused on having you convert people They think the Great Commission’s emphasis is on converting many people as you as an individual can. The reality some people are more gifted in building existing Christians up. You will no doubt be blessed for converting people, but I think there’s room for people who can strengthen exisiting believers’ faith. Paul says the different parts of the body of Christ are called to do different things.

After returning to CF lately after many years, I've noticed sadly that Singles is very negative and not really a nice place for female posters. Too many discussions about what is wrong with women,etc. It is also interesting that there are not many active female posters like there once was. Just a thought.

Yeah, it's been kinda rough the last few months. A lot of high emotions and rushing to "defend" before really thinking. A lot of people have deep questions and thoughts, and the threads quickly derail into tribal fueds and finger-pointing of offended parties, upholding their points of view. I do feel like the hostility is spilling over even into threads where it doesn't belong, and usually the posts are "blame women" oriented.

I'm no expert, but if you're hoping to attract a woman, blaming them for everything and treating them like an enemy even when they're being nice to you, and also then you acting generally like a miserable child. . . . Probably not the best way to go about it.

I am not singling anyone out or calling anyone out specifically, I know I share some of the blame for some hostilities, but
If you're offended by my post; maybe take a second to think about yourself and how you might be perceived in your past interactions here, and ask if maybe its a fair criticism.

Or just post in a blind rage to defend yourself and get the thread shut down. Up to you.

You are right. Since I've been a Believer, I've noticed that has been a recurring theme in two different Baptist churches I had gone to (and to a point, a Christian organization I used to work for). It's like to them, once you're saved, you don't matter anymore.

I don't have any experience on what the Singles forum used to be like on here, but my perception about the singles is that the men have gotten more vocal everywhere recently. I thought with the Christian singles, it was just the ladies that were having trouble finding Christian men because they all married young and you can't find a single one at church, so you go somewhere else and get with a non-Believer. But now, all these Christian and non-Christian men are coming out, telling us that women are the problem for this reason, that reason, etc. I was shocked when I heard what the men had to say.

Well, ultimately, the blame goes to the ‘men’ and I use that term quite loosely these days. Men simply failed them, and allowed the women to be manipulated by the world system in order to achieve political agendas which ultimately serve to obtain more control over society, and generate more revenue for the world system out of each household. Men allowed themselves to be feminized by the world system thus no longer qualified protectors of the women. They were too spineless and didn’t have the fortitude to go against the narrative of the world system. Since then they threw Christ out of the public schools, legalized baby butchering and other satanic abominations.

It isn’t that little teenage girl’s fault she dresses like a harlot..ultimately the blame goes to the father because he does not have his house in order and has allowed himself to be emasculated by the world system. It isn’t the wife's fault she has no respect for the husband..while he sits on his butt watching dudes in tight pants dryhump each other up and down a field chasing after a ball while partaking in gluttony. These men who are single and blame women because they cannot find one, they are lying to themselves. Many such men have feminine qualities and they radiate weakness by being so desperate to no longer remain single. If ya ain’t happy yourself ya ain’t gonna be able to make anyone else happy either.

I tell you what, and hopefully this is limited only to my area, but I doubt it, I don’t know..but I just get sick and tired of being out and about, seeing ‘men’ who look like women. It is appalling and ghastly. Can’t blame the women for anything, when the men allowed themselves to become weak.

Unfortunately this stink has heavily invaded the manmade denominational buildings..modern pastors in skinny women’s pants and man buns. If you cannot even present yourself as a man and proceed to carry yourself like some gender bender, you have no business placing yourself in a role of spiritual authority over others. Cut off the women’s hairdo, which is a disgrace according to scripture, put on some men’s clothing, shut up and learn for a while before you have the audacity to put yourself in a role of spiritual authority over a flock. That’s a whole other story though for another day..too many chiefs, not near enough Indians.

I go on YouTube and see all these feminized soy boy looking numales who stink of the world taking it upon themselves to place themselves in a teacher’s role and using the faith as a source of revenue..when Christ chased people out of the temple with a makeshift cat-o-nine-tails sort of device because they were simply selling regular everyday goods. How would Christ react if He encountered effeminate men on YouTube selling repackaged bits and pieces of cherry picked scripture contorted our of context to gullible folks desperate for miraculous healings? I know this may go against the ‘current thing’ which seems to me everyone has to be a social media rockstar but such people genuinely make me sick. If they want money, they need to get off their butts and get a job and work with their hands like scripture commands rather than profiteering off the faith and taking advantage of the gullible/noob converts.

I blame women for nothing personally, ultimately God placed man to be the leaders and the leaders have genuinely failed and allowed themselves to be castrated..whether by consuming too much media propaganda or chemically by drinking too much soy. Ultimately the blame rightfully belongs to the men. I know I’ve had my share of miserable failures I’m not about to try and put that on anyone else. But all things work for good for those who are in Christ and all those past failures were just a lesson to be learned from rather than repeat.

I don't think one needs to be an expert to realize this is true, though. XD

And I mean, the same holds true for the few times I recall seeing the gender positions reversed here, too. Basically, if you want to date, be in love, be married one day, etc., treating the opposite gender as some sort of enemy is really counter-productive.

For what it's worth, most of this negativity seems to be coming from a handful of relatively new people. It's hard to tell whether they're trolling or genuinely believe what they're saying. In some cases, people involved with certain social movements visit message boards and social media with the intention of recruiting others to their cause. In other cases they might be spreading disinformation or deliberately trying to be divisive.

I'd recommend using the ignore feature. If somebody seems to be looking for a reaction, recruiting for a dubious cause, or consistently causing trouble, block them.

I am not ashamed to say I have a big list of people I put on Ignore. But it's more b/c I don't have the patience to tolerate purposefully naive people or people looking for a fight.
