@SarahsKnight I played some of Legend of Dragoon when it came out. All I really remember is the awesome transformations and LOD having one of the best game cover arts ever. Look at the detail and color, just beautiful.

I do like RPGs but most of the RPGs I've played are Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. I've done a few others like Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door, Persona 5, Xenoblade Chronicles, etc. King Albert indeed sounds pimp. It'd be fun calling people knaves while being a super powered warrior king that marries their true love. Imagine flying high with your wife, like two angels, and then descending to smite enemies together, that'd be the life lol. A good story and characters are the main things that would get me to beat a game twice. Especially when we're talking about RPGs. Getting lost in the world is what really makes it worth it. Few genres can hit that spot like an RPG.

Well, if you remember, assuming you got as far as towards the end of disc 1, it happened when King Albert wasn't a member of the party yet. You were on your way to rescue him from prison by the empire (of course, it always "The Empire" , although interestingly this time they were only the antagonists for the first 1/4 of the game), and there was a cutscene in which the sadistic boss of the place, the prison warden, had him tied up, unarmed, and was mocking him. And so risking the guillotine a little early, even so Albert called him a knave. I was like, man this guy is cool. And sure enough, at the end of the prison segment Albert joins you when you rescue him., inheriting all of the powers a current party member had (including their Dragoon spirit).

I used to watch a YouTuber called Pleasant Sims. I found out today that she started practicing witchcraft sometime last year. It has made me physically ill and angry.

I think everyone was speaking on that when we gathered at the start of the morning shift at work for the usual daily meeting (I was a bit listless, having fallen on my backside fairly hard leaving home this morning in the rain and being unusually sleepless, so I admit my attention was not its best). Someone had gone into cardiac arrest on the field?

When I had watched the video back in the summer, my interpretation was that she at least believed God existed, then turned into an atheist, and is now a wiccan. Maybe I misunderstood or missed something.

I wouldn't give up, especially if God has someone special for you.

One of the hard things about being older and single is that you have to worry about someone being in a relationship. That sure wasn't a worry back in high school or college. After I reached a certain point in my 20s, I assumed that all men were taken so that I didn't commit adultery on accident (like flirting).

Im feeling like a very odd cocktail of emotions. Im very excited for this year- it’s been wonderful so far and I’ve been making plans that bring me a lot of happiness. At the same time I’m getting increasingly anxious about the pile of emotional stuff I’ve been repressing for so long. If I give myself even a moment to think I start getting worried that it feels like it’s all about to spill over soon. I keep feeling like im being nudged to try therapy… but I’m really scared that if I open the lid on all the trauma I haven’t let myself process that I won’t be ok anymore.. and there is way too much going on in life for me to waste time not being ok.

Bleh, I dunno. The imposter syndrome is strong with this one lately. Every time people try to compliment me on how well I have things together I want to vomit because I know the truth is I’m weak and hanging on by a thread.

From experience, holding it in only leads to further deterioration of your mental and physical health. There's nothing wrong with letting things spill over so you can process it and deal with it in a healthy way. It's not going to go away until you do. Putting a lid on it only makes it more volatile and you end up in a worse place down the road. My PM box is always open.

I have read all of the Bible at least once except for some of the Prophets.

I have read Genesis, Exodus, Job, & the New Testament bunches of times. (The New Testament I'm always reading, usually just open it up & start reading)
