Yeah right! You have to be well financed to be on the paid version. Lots of CEOs are on that sight. It's really hard to get accepted on that site though. There's a long waiting list.
That sounds sketchy to me, for a number of reasons. If you want to meet wealthy people, try hanging out where wealthy people gather. Country clubs, museums, the opera, churches in rich neighborhoods, charity events, etc.

Also, many wealthy folks are good with money and may prefer to downplay their financial situation. I suspect a service that emphasizes such things might attract spendthrifts with a lot of debt who act like high-rollers. If that can be hard to tell in person, I'd imagine it's even harder to tell through an online service.

I'm a visual person, and these purple masks are confusing me. Apparently, I rely on avatars when replying to threads. Who said what now? lol

Here's the best explanation of the site. Online dating is not for everyone but it can be one of many ways to meet someone for the long-term.

I agree that online dating can work, depending on the circumstances. It's an option. This one might be useful in a "birds of a feather flock together" sense, but something about it seems off to me. I have a hard time imagining most people I've known who fit its criteria using a service like that. Then again, I can also imagine the type that might. Maybe I'm just being elitist in my own way, so who am I to judge? lol

If it's feasible, you're probably better off meeting somebody IRL. That will be my prayer for you in your time off from dating sites. That you meet better quality matches than online, and perhaps find that special someone.

Happy New Year!

It's nice to see that the mask overlays are gone, and the animated fireworks have stopped. Although the fireworks and the snow were kind of fun, the masks weren't my cup of tea. If they were smaller and could be repositioned, that could work, but they were simply too big in my opinion.

Last post for 2022. Gods richest blessings and maybe I will see some of you here in 2024.

Well, 'guess Miss Sampa's gone, now. But certainly not forgotten.

Who else here partied hard last night? ^_^

(I actually didn't. Last time was 2019 New Year's Eve. All I did this time was break out a glass of Tennessee Whiskey and play a round of Resident Evil 4 for the first time in a year - which for me is quite a hiatus ... from playing an RE game, I mean, not the whiskey. I'm not an alcoholic, be assured.) ^_^ )

That's one of my favorite parts of the game, above, where a wild dog I rescued from a bear trap at the beginning comes back to help me fight this giant monster.

I've beat RE4 at least twice, definitely one of the best games ever made. I'm hoping Capcom shutting down a fan attempt at a Code Veronica remake means they are planning an official one. Never played that game but I'd like to in the new engine.

Hey, Angelsroundme, might you be an RPG fan? Seems like they might be your thing.

Just beat Legend of Dragoon for the second time ever in my life. After spending months going through it a little bit at a time. 6.5 out of 10. I have some hangups with it, both major and minor, but it certainly has a charm, and the experience of going through it felt generally fun and adventurous.

And man, the character King Albert is pimp. Everything I would have wanted to be if I lived in that universe as Sarah's Knight. He's a young, neophyte king who fights with stylized moves using a lance, fell in love with the noble and beautiful princess of a neighboring kingdom, who he knew from youth, married her in the ending, and bravely defies enemies who have him dead to rights by calling them knaves. Nice. ^-^

Enjoying every second of free time I have left. Only two day work week after this.. but really.. after this year I need a long good break.

Currently watching Mission Impossible 6. Think I've only seen the first one. I've heard this one is really good... hope so. Didn't care much for the first one. But after watching Top Gun: Maverick I'm in the mood for Tom Cruise films.
Mission Impossible 5 and 6 are my faves. You should also check out the first Jack Reacher movie. Best Tom Cruise movie in my opinion.
