Speaking of Demon Slayer, I believe you were the one who recommended this to me some months ago, @mojoboy31 . (Mostly because of some cute girl you posted an image of in the crush thread that was from this anime, of course; you know the life slogan that Sarah's Knight goes by.) Since my boy Lantis over in El Dorado mentioned he'd seen the whole series so far before (and it seems he liked it), I thought it might be a good excuse to see the first few episodes with him the last time I was hanging out with him. Don't know whether it's really my thing so far, as it is a level of violence that generally goes beyond a personal boundary of sensitivity that I go by, but I do like the premise of the story and the two main characters so far. I might ask him if he's willing to go through another few next time I am down there.

I had a lot of anime on VHS back from 13 to 20 or so years old, and I had watched them over so many times back then that I remember a good deal of even the previews that came on before each one, especially their OP theme songs. I would wager that this character in your avatar was

By the way, @ChocolateVanilla , this prompted me to think back on a particular preview on some little-known space opera-ish anime that I'd seen a lot from those times and always liked the song, called "MAPS". And I found it on YouTube. The full version has a few bad points that are rough to listen to, but overall, good song in my opinion. Whoever the male vocalist is makes it sound kind of epic.
