Well, that was quite a problematic and expensive last 24 hours. First no air in my car, then no air in my apartment (leading to a fitful night - it's hard to sleep comfortably while stuck at 82 degrees F
), then my car's alternator fizzles out on my way to work this morning and only by the Lord's protection despite my headlights going out in the so-doing did I find a safe place to pull over soon enough. But, somehow, all of these problems have been fixed by the time of this post. Cost me 540 bucks, but, hey, now the things that broke beforehand sort of feel brand new.
It could be a lot worse. Unlike some unfortunate people, I may not have had the money to pay for all this on the spot were it not for the Lord's grace in financial matters ever since I graduated college and struck out on my own. A lot of people struggle to make ends meet even without sudden expenses like the one I suffered today.
