Churches s/ focus their teaching less on how to minister to non-believers, & more on how to make sure current believer's faith is correct. Somewhere it became a #s game & not a quality game.

So, I'm in the Netherlands now. Visiting family. And one thing I can say with absolute certainty, is that Albert Heijn is the most irritating supermarket in the world - LITERALLY.

My VISA debit card has been accepted all over the world, from the small market stalls of Daegu South Korea, to the free flowing streets of Brooklyn NY, all the way to the insanity of Tokyo. But to Albert Heijn? And SEVERAL supermarkets in the Netherlands? It's as if I'm trying to pay with quantum-currency, or Mickey Mouse money.

GET WITH THE TIMES NL. Everyone in the world recognises VISA, it's time you did too. It's not 1954 anymore.

On other matters, seeing my niece now as a 4 year old girl has REALLY hit it home that I am very much an uncle, AND that she sees me as such. It seems to come so easy to her, why am *I* feeling so conflicted?

Well... I'm half uncle, half human climbing frame.

I know none of you will be able to see this very well from my perspective, so it will probably be hard to get a sense of empathy, but, please pray that I suffer no more dreams in my sleep that take place anywhere in the part of my childhood where I lived in South Carolina. The house I lived in, the neighborhood around me, or the schools that I went to. I despise all of those places. Very few dreams over the years that used my elementary school in South Carolina as the setting were pleasant ones, and as far as I remember NONE that took place in that accursed house were good. Last night just now in my dreams I relived an exaggerated version of the bad experiences that I'd had with my immediate family in that house. At first I wanted to type out the details of this just to get it off of my chest, but honestly I think it might trigger a person or two who reads it. Let's just say I got into an intense religious argument with one of my parents in this dream for using God to say something cruel about my sister, and the level of anger in which I screamed my defense at them was jarring. And while we all have generally a good relationship today, this dream reminded me that something like this could easily have happened IRL back in the past when I was maybe 9 years old to my early twenties or so.

I really hate dreaming of places from my childhood in South Carolina. They are 90% bad memories. I dreamed of complete abandonment in that house one time, even! I remember telling you all about that when it happened a year or so ago.

I’m sorry the dream was unpleasant. Sometimes houses reference a physical place or our spiritual condition. The best way to put a stop to them is through forgiveness and prayer.

Everything is a seed. Forgiving a wrong doesn’t alter the consequences or impact. When we’re negatively affected we have to pull up the weeds or they’ll spread.

Pray against the thoughts, feelings, experiences you observed and encountered, and the lingering effects that remain for you and the others.

In Star Wars fandom, there's always a debate who the Chosen One is. Is it Luke, Anakin, some old EU Legends character, Rey, Palpatine, Yoda, Obi-Wan?
I just thought of this & I'm sure it's been said before: it's obviously R2-D2. Everything that happens on a galactic scale, he's there & plays a pivotal role.

In one of my dreams last night, I had a pet baby lop-eared bunny named Bonnie. Not the main focus of the dream, but memorably cute.

Other than that, I’m still busy with work and the volunteer job. Although I’m not exactly burned out, I have been losing sleep. I’m looking forward to this weekend, when I can hopefully relax, work on models, and maybe catch up with forums and whatnot.
