I wonder if it's the same person I was helping out as well. Former singles member here who kept asking me on Facebook for gas money and the like.

I don't think so.

She's only asked for my prayers. I also spent a little bit of corrisponding with her about jobs when since she lives probably 2 hours from me. My heart and prayers go out to her and her husband.

I'm still puzzling over a weird dialogue I had with a woman pastor (for she herself hath said) who thinks "the Bible is unnecessary" and seems to deny that any of it is real but rather campfire stories and inventions of MEN (sic). Instead, she chooses to follow God and Jesus by living a life of love and justice ("and you don't need the Bible for that"). Why drag Jesus and Christianity into your religion if you not only don't believe it, but are convinced it is extremely harmful? I've tried to coax forth her rationale to no avail. People are so strange.

It is such a sad thing that this movement is growing. They have their own idea of who Jesus is in their minds, which in reality is a form of idolatry because who they really worship is themselves in the image of Christ.

I followed a path that I was very sure God wanted me to. It went wonderful but ended awful. Am I sure it was His path all along? It's difficult.
I know it's said He tests us, but there is a line?

I believe evil is evil and can happen any way.
Not everything is connected.

I am reflecting on where to go from there.

Bless

Mae, it’s wonderful to see you! I hope you’re well. :)

We walk in the measure of light we possess. Consider your actions five years ago and today. The mistakes are evident. You’re wiser and more experienced. You can see the pitfalls you didn’t notice.

In like fashion, spiritual maturity has its growing pains. Distinguishing the body and soul (heart and mind) from the spirit requires practice. The clearer you are on your likes, dislikes, and desires of the heart the easier it is to distinguish the self from Him.

It’s okay to be uncertain. Asking ‘Lord is that You’ is fine. Deception isn’t always obvious. Sometimes the counterfeit appears authentic. The solution is two-fold.

Pray fervently for wisdom and discernment. Apply the word to the situation. Does it line up or contradict His precepts? Don’t buy into the exception trap. Commend it to Him with a request for guidance and outworking in your favor even if you’re mistaken. Remind Him of His promise to work all things together. And rest in the certainty He’ll bring it to pass.

It’s the end of thing that matters. The stumbles are ushering you to something greater. No one climbs a mountain sure-footedly the first or second trip. You get better with every leg. As will you.

I could use some prayers. I'm preaching this Saturday at our men's breakfast and it is one of the toughest messages I've ever given. It's about how we tend to fall short in how we love one another, especially as brothers in the Lord.

Hi Bella :) It's been along time. I'm sure alot has happened to us both since we talked. I hope it has been overall positive for you.

Thank you for support. Your words are always refreshing.
I did question. It seems like my life, I am sure everyone experiences, goes from lows to highs. Especially the few years before.
Everything is amazing.
Then terrible.
Then great.
Then awfule.
And I'm like. What is happening ^_^

I feel almost like I am starting again. Gaining only bad memory. And bad dreams. And anxiety.
My friend tells me a therapist and pills is what I need.
But I want to find inner strength not artificial. Maybe I am stubborn.
So I wake up with a prayer and a smile and keep going. Like you said try to learn from mistakes or bad choices or bad people. And love the good people and family and myself.

I know He has something for me to find.

My first digital art since January! They're just some simple pixel animations, but I hope you still like them. ^-^

If things have been amazing, then you know how to get there again.

Pessimistically speaking however, the terrible times will ALSO come again - but, from my experience, the amazing times that await over on the other side of the terrible times become even more amazing because your character has since 'stepped up' and is wiser, smarter, and MORE capable of extracting the absolute most from it.

So, in essence - and as cliche as it sounds, the rain must fall for the seed to grow.

*TL;DR - you'll be alright.

Thank you! :satisfied: Those are Chao, cute little creatures that you take care of in a couple of Sonic games - they come in many different types and colors! These ones in particular are the typical Neutral, Hero, and Dark Chao in the most common colors. :) Each Chao has a little shape above its head that changes at times to show how it's feeling - a ball for the Neutral Chao, a halo for the Hero Chao, and a spiky ball for the Dark Chao.
