Thank you! I'm trying to tell myself that. If he never responds, I don't have to worry about seeing him for another five or 10 years as far as awkwardness. It's just so weird because he's the only one at the reunion that I found really attractive, but I have no connection with him but I have mutual friends that were talking to him so he seems like he's a nice person.I don't think you have anything to be embarrassed about, Miss @sampa. You did nothing wrong.![]()
Ha ha...

Congratulations! I hope this will be a step up for you. And it's always good to continue learning and building our skills.Feeling much much better and less stress now that I've passed my ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification.
I shouldn't expect that much from my profile with the Jesus felt her that I use. I've debated about talking so much about Jesus and my profile,

, I was in the main lab where the two "liquids" techs reside, on a routine test that I have to go into their territory for a minute or two a few times throughout the day, and this occurs right next to the big stereo they have in there for satellite radio or something. I'm listening to the song for a moment and remark to Kayla, a black lady about my age whose tastes in music differ quite greatly from my own (so we often poke fun at each other's music when we cross areas to hear it), "hey, don't think I've ever heard this song. Who's the artist?" So from across the counter where she can see the title and group doing the song onscreen, she said something like "Cannons. 'Ruthless'."
And, she won't be known for killing everyone with a gun like Bond does. She'll be a little more harmless, using whirwind kung fu on the bad guys, instead, and uses her veritable cuteness to naturally seduce her opponents into submission or confessing their crimes. One look into the gleaming white-toothed smile and tie-dye colored eyes of this cute bruiser with the awesomemest name ever, and only the absolute most cold-hearted of super villains will resist giving up their wicked ways.
Ohh noOhhhh, you meant to say Jesus filter, right? My guess is this was an instance when you would have been better off without auto-correct. ^-^
I probably would agree. But in those times it was for having children. So in those times I just would have complied and tried to make the most of it like I do with my work. I need money to put food on the table and a shelter over my head. Plus insurance to help when medical issues come up.Abraham sent his servant Elazar to look for a wife for Isaac. (I wish that custom was still here with us, parents getting their children husbands and wives, those were the 'good ol days) (my opinion)
... And I'm like, I'm thinking not. That ... actually sounds like a terrible idea.
Very true. I had a friend in Japan that his parents was an arranged marriage, and his mom didn't think his dad was very attractive but grew to love him. And of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Because the friend was really attractive to me, but in Japan he was told he didn't have a very attractive face. I asked other friends that were Western and they thought he was really good looking too. He still was able to marry the girl of his choice since he became sort of like a salary man. It was just sort of a process where he went to arrange dinners and found the girl that was going to fit with his career. And while arranged at first, it seems to me the way it is written in Genesis, Isaac and Rebekah did come to love by choice
Yes, I might agree. All my life people have tried to set me up with somebody, and I thought what are they thinking? The guys of course were always interested in me but there was just nothing that clicked. And one that was through my family, and I resisted, I'm glad because later they were able to see what a bad choice he would have been. In Japan, many of them were worried that I should return home and find a husband and have babies. I was in my late twenties, and I guess they thought that when you turn 30 you become an old woman. At that time, after you turn 30 you're not considered prospect for marriage. And I've had friends, that I've noticed they have remained single. One of them went through a divorce because her husband was laundering money and had to go to prison. It's probably been 15 years and I have not seen her with anyone else.imagine many would begrudge the notion of us choosing someone for them, and they would refuse to even try to love the person presented to them. The
Collaboration, stories and ideas are always a lot of fun in the workplace. It breaks up the monotony of your work... we don't have a backstory or developed first-movie criminal plot for our heroine to get wrapped up in, yet. But hey, I see the basis for a million-dollar gold mine in the media, here.![]()
I just saw this written by someone on another part of the forums (won't say who so as to out that person in any way):

I may possibly still have the optimistic and idealistic romantic attitudes of one who is in his late teens or early twenties, and even retain the appearance passable for a college student as my very crush herself Erin graciously said of me once a few weeks ago ... but still, I think the actual age difference of myself and the majority of the ladies here might ward me from flirting with them beyond the basic politeness I have always wished to show to all ladies on general.
It shouldn't be about having the custom of those good old days but having the same Spirit of love and goodness.
People leave the Spirit of God out of His Word, making customs and then oppressing the poor and innocent. They did this with the Messiah too and He rebuked them
I had not thought about it this way when I presented the above sentiments about people being brought together by parents or other family members rather than finding each other on their own, that you had quoted me on, Miss Gospel. But I think you make a profound observation there.
