Easter plans. I sometimes go to my sister's church, but this year I think I'll go to mine.

Ugh. Have to be in to work unexpectedly tonight on a normal day off. That means I have to make it to 5 tomorrow morning before being able to sleep again. =/ I've been working too much lately, but, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, right? Please pray for me to make it through tonight, and that I will also the next time I return to work on my normal time this weekend, as there will be another 24-hour turnaround between tonight and Saturday morning when I was normally scheduled to go back. And please pray for the person I am having to cover, as she is unexpectedly having to see a specialist today about a possible retinal tear, I believe, so this could be bad for her vision.

On my way to work I just discovered this little coffee shop. Apparently even a town as small as Magnolia - literally 1/400th the population of Houston - would contain a locale such as this. ... And I think I may slowly be turning into our fellow member Mojoboy, because the young lady who is my server here is cute. She looks a fair bit like someone I was a fan of on YT for a while, GoodnightMoon, with the red hair and slightly freckled face. ... I mean, with this sudden attraction to a coffee shop girl and listening to more Frank Sinatra songs as of late, there could no other explanation but a frightening influence from @mojoboy.

Despite today being rather infamous in history, it ended up being a rather great day.

Went to the store, and found some new brands of wine I like. I even picked up one of the new brands; kinda hard not to when a pretty Italian girl is giving out free wine samples lol. This evening, heard from family members and friends that I hadn't heard from in a while, and was even surprised by my neighbor cutting the grass in the front lawn just to be nice - despite having to cut his own.

I told myself I wouldn't do it this year. It's too much work. It's just not worth it. And yet here I am surrounded by riddles and pictures of easter eggs again.

The scavenger egg hunt is complete. Tomorrow will be amazing!

I've been a little vocal and adamant about how eggs and treasures hunts are not part of God's agenda. Well, I didn't exactly say that. But my opinion is more or less those sentiments. Then I went to service Saturday night, and the Pastor asked for a show of hands for who ever has participated in egg hunts etc. Of course I had to raise my hand because as a child I had done that. Then it was like Holy Spirit shifted my attitude. How could I be so dead set against something that I had engaged in prior in life. Even though, I'm not really a fan of it, I can see how I shouldn't be so critical of those who do do it.
