• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Guys, I finally did it! I made a Twitch account and was able to download OBS Studio. Now I can make my first livestream ever!! It will be of me making a digital drawing. If anyone is interested in watching, I'll be doing it on Monday or Tuesday afternoon (EST). I wonder what I should draw, though? It should probably be something simpler that I can do all at once, unless you don't mind splitting it into two streams and two days. I'm so excited!
Yay!
I will try to watch then! It took me a few tries to get used to steaming with obs, but it’s pretty easy once you figure it out.
I have HD channels now! A decent number of them, too.
Strange... I thought HD cost extra. Oh well.

I will be glad to see you there. :) I'll post when I'm about to start!

I tried OBS out, it seems pretty easy.

Catching up on Nostalgia Critic episodes.. I like how people (I think me too.. I don't remember.. lol) thought the channel was over a few months ago because a few women complained about trivial stuff.. yeah.. just ignore it.. people are gonna watch the shows anyways.

Although seems like The Young Turks is having some financial problems, and I'm quite happy about that.

Hey, when you’ve spent a year watching SD picture on a 4K tv... finding HD is indeed something to celebrate

Yeah, especially the higher resolution TVs.. SD always looks worse on an over powered TV.

I suggest one of the Pound Puppies since the ones you've sown together and showed us in the near past resemble them so well from my vague memory. I think they were from before your time, though, Multi. ^-^

I do remember seeing some of the plush Pound Puppies before, and I owned a little keychain one once. Cute. ^_^ I never realized before, but they do look similar!

5.99$ med pizza on my new street... have mercy:crossrc:

Still depends on the quality, though.

There's a saying I have heard a few times that even when pizza is "bad", it's still pretty good. ... Not entirely true. I have run afoul of one or two brands of pizza that were clearly cheap pieces of slime on a shingle. @Anthony7 would have put a hit out on me if I had dared to rate them as anything above barely edible. And I would have to concede that he'd be in the right to do so as an Italian who takes pride in such things, were I more forgiving of those thankfully few examples. ^_^

Just came to mind: I hope @leothelioness is doing well, especially with her dedication to celibacy, which when she announced it on here that it was a path she wanted to now follow, I just couldn't help but think she was really cool and showed great determination in it. I would like for her to come back soon and visit with us again. She was a fiery one. ^_^ We had something of an argument once on here but were quick to be friends again afterward and spoke of many personal subjects in harmony and understanding over the last few years. If I recall, I think she was either born in or spent some of her childhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee like me, too. :)

Ah, and, now that I think about it, I remember there was also a time very shortly after I first came here that (was it @Hawthorne , I think?) pretended that she and I should be a star-crossed couple simply because Lioness's real name was Sarah. Hah. ^_^

No, no. The Sarah whose knight I wish to be one day must for now remain a mere high ideal to strive for, and not necessarily an actual fellow female creature. And again, I think I have evolved somewhat in my personal beliefs and worldviews since coming to the CF singles community in 2014, in that I now see my future beloved - whether she is truly out there somewhere or not - as more of a lady knight figure than a princess-wife. Both the image of a princess and a lady knight are very positive in their own ways, but there are differences.

lol i saw a coworker walking in the hallway and started to sing and dance...
"Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderfffulll..."
lol she started cat walking and we just sang and dance, the unit clerk ignored us so i went to bug her too, rubbed my shoulder on hers and sang.."You are the dancing queen...young and sweetttt..." she replied in a monotonous voice, "I only dance when I'm really drunk..." so i left her and bothered another nurse..."and now i wonder...if i could fall into the sky and days would pass, would pass me by, oh i would walk a thousand miles, just to be with you tonight..." lol then she hummed along...hahaaha...yups gotta keep the unit sane!

But of course you won't tell until it is done, right, Knightess? ^-^
I will tell what it is at the beginning of the stream, before I start drawing. But I'll also be sure to share it with everyone here when it's done. ;)

Oh yeah no way I've had some horrible pizza... many times. This place is good though, I approve.
