You're silly, Knight.

I don't know enough about her at this point.

Who is Sarah, BTW.

I asked him that once a long time ago. I don't remember his answer. :(

Sore from working on my form for dance.

Also, I'm roasting asparagus in the oven and I smells delish.

It's wonderful that you smell nice, of course. But how does the asparagus smell? :p

*shuts off the shrinker* :D

His post got me thinking. Who are my ride and dies? That’s obvious. Then I said to myself, what do they have in common?

I answered...loyal, outspoken, protective, fearless, and shrewd. They’re warriors. And we have a spiritual bond. I think that’s the missing link.

My greatest demonstrations of love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and generosity are in that group. Their welfare is a priority. And I love them deeply. In words, deeds, and spirit.

We click. Not an over time clicking. But from hello. Bam, it was there. Maybe that’s a guideline of sorts. The connection which doesn’t fray in spite of frailties.

Love remains. It always remains.

It was a far more instant connection. Sort of like the, “You had me at hello”. It was easy and effortless but as you said comes hardships as well. No relationship is perfect or void of struggle and strife.

what has and always will remain is Love.

Many people speak of Love and wanting it but lack the understanding what true unconditional love is. We have encountered jealousy, rage, lies, and the sort trying to break us. The Lord has stepped in and shown us both.

Ride or die is a phrase but it holds such meaning. There are a select few that have that place for the reasons you stated.

Most of it.

Co-dependency by definition is a concept where there is a grave imbalance in a relationship. It’s like have a people addiction and idol worship of another. One person is passive or excessive in caretaking while putting their needs completely on the back burner.

It is extremely unhealthy and could become potentially dangerous.

*diddles your daddle and steal a peek* Wonder what you’ve learned thus far! :D

I forgot to show you my masks. I’m going to get some more. I like to coordinate. You need lots of purple!

That’s the pattern. The first time it happened I was 11. Instant connection. Lots of depth and love. We were a lot like you and I. Mum pulled me out of Catholic school to reunite us. She’s pretty cool sometimes.

The constant from that time onward were deep bonds with people who know how to love above and beyond the norm. Not the smoochies stuff. But in the trenches shoulder-to-shoulder Brene Brown kind of love.

Many people speak of Love and wanting it but lack the understanding what true unconditional love is. We have encountered jealousy, rage, lies, and the sort trying to break us. The Lord has stepped in and shown us both.

Someone told me years ago love has no memory. That’s true. Love overcomes the greatest offenses if its genuine. If the love exceeds the pain. It can weather all storms and challenges. At some point you realize you’re stuck and that’s the way you want it.

Ride or die is a phrase but it holds such meaning. There are a select few that have that place for the reasons you stated.

I think a lot of people want the same. They’re not paratroopers and may take a different route. But most desire to burn in someone’s soul and feel the same. To be etched on their heart irrevocably. That’s a beautiful feeling.

Remember when I made this? A heart set free.

We need glitter and rhinestones! Missy has a pink one with the stones. I wanted to keep it. But I shared. Only 2! :p

If you have a large, close-knit and supportive community who are like-minded, this strategy will probably work out fine. I'm thinking sort of like the community the Orthodox Jews in New York have. But if your community is smaller, or not very cohesive, and there aren't many eligible men available, I would be very cautious about this approach. You could find that it hinders you a lot down the line if you are still single and decide you really want to get married. I used to have somewhat similar views about courting when I was your age, and also used to believe that God would provide a man in due time without me having to do much about it. But I'm 29 now and no man has appeared. However, I don't have a network of people to support this sort of strategy like you seem to. There's no judgement on my part either, though. I just feel old and jaded. lol
Our community, if you could call it that, is somewhat large, but widespread. :) Because of our beliefs faith-wise (just in general), we naturally have less people to choose from, but it is my hope, belief, and prayer that the right man will come along in God's good timing. Hopefully sooner rather than later, just because we don't date doesn't mean the desire for a relationship isn't there. I do appreciate your input.
I hope your man comes along, he's out there somewhere. :)

I've also wondered this. I hope he tells us
I asked him that once a long time ago. I don't remember his answer.
I think it’s an anime character he likes.

Such curiosity falls heavy upon the CF singles community this evening. I suppose inquiring minds will not rest until the mystery is answered. ^-^

She's not a real person (although it is true I was once in love with a lass named Sarah in my late teens, it is not her whom my name references), nor is she someone who already exists in RPG's or anime (the two foremost mediums for finding cute fictional girls for a single fellow like myself to attach himself to :D).

Just an ideal, is all. Brought to life in my own story that I wrote for an RPG made with the RPGMaker 1 software, called Arc Arath, as a human girl who our group of main heroes gain the lifelong friendship of when they meet her on their adventure, and she is admired and loved by everyone around her. To me Sarah is the name of an ideal human woman of great beauty in both heart and soul, such that it illuminates through to her face and causes everyone around her to believe that they must be seeing the vision of an angel of mercy or a goddess of love in the guise of a mere human mortal. ^-^

The name Sarah is perfect for such a lady, I would think. Since it means something like "princess" in Hebrew, I believe?
