Definitely. (More books, I mean.) And I have more books than can fit on one bookcase as it is. I determined that, no matter what kind of place I eventually settle into when I make it to Canada, I will get more bookshelves to accommodate a bigger library, or better yet, have a virtual library made right there in my home, like, floor to ceiling shelves full of books surrounding a little nook/alcove where I sit comfortably on a luxurious couch of some sort in front of a large window while reading, or something like that. ^-^

Oooh, you're moving to the Great White North? Welcome in advance. I will warm up your igloo for you. Hehe.

Wow, that sounds pretty. I used to want a library. But packing boxes during the remodel brought me to my senses. I started to downsize. I could stand to prune a few more. If you were here I’d have given you the Christian ones. I took them to the library

Thanks. I will look forward to that day. ^-^

Of course, I have had this plan for five years now. It may be some time yet. I can't even get back in the running for immigration until this April (due to having to take this test again as a requirement whose results are only valid for two years at a time, and centres where you can take that test all around the U.S. were shut down since Covid became a problem early last year, unfortunately). But, all in the Lord's time, of course. :)

May I ask what province/territory you are thinking of moving to?

I think I will downsize in many other ways when I finally try to find a more permanent home to settle in (in comparison to all of the places I have lived so far on my own since getting out of school, which I think number at least six or seven in just 13 years), in Ontario. But as for books, I personally think that'd be good to have more instead of less. Video games and other little trinkets will be downsized, though, I think.

Been thinking of having a tiny house built, perhaps, although the lack of defense against harsh weather conditions in that case is a big minus to me that probably will not be worth it at all.

Ontario. Mississauga seems like a nice place, for one. :)

Good choice. Though I'm biased of course. lol Mississauga is a nice city. They had the most amazing mayor for so many years, she kept the city out of debt. I think it broke some kind of record for a city with the least amount of municipal debt or something. The traffic also isn't horrible like some other Ontario cities *cough* LondonHamilton *cough*. They have a good system of roads and highways running through there to keep the traffic flowing. Just avoid the 401 and 403 during rush-hour.

Also, please wish me luck in that it will be a success with no permanent defacement in any way. I have just gotten back from my first of likely ten to fifteen appointments for permanent facial hair removal by electrolysis. The cost overall is going to be much less than I thought, praise the Lord, but even with the specialist's assurance to the contrary, there's always that tiny worry that scarring of some sort will result.

I don't know; I have just always been averse to facial hair because I like having more of a baby face, to look both younger and - in my own eyes, mind you; so no offense intended to anyone here at all who likes possessing beards, or any lady who might prefer men with beards, etc. - and more "harmless". A few hundred dollars sunk into that effort to look that way for literally the rest of my life, not to mention the likely hundreds of dollars and several days' worth of time that I will save no longer having to shave in the long run, seems to me to be quite worth it. :)

There is quite a bit of temporary swelling and redness in the areas of the face that she has already worked on, however, but still.

A tiny home for two? :D

I’ve seen some nice ones on telly. The size would get to me after awhile. Little Miss and I talked about traveling by RV. But I need some space! I’d ask for one for a wedding gift but I want a bunker.

How many rooms do you want?

Hope it goes well! I've thought of doing this for my eyebrows because I've got big manly eyebrows that need constant maintenance to not look manly. Does it hurt a lot?

Are you from Ontario as well, Miss Isaiah?

I don't know for sure, but she did give a hint in one of her posts suggesting that could well be the case. :)

Congrats!! I love it. I always wondered why men didn’t wax. My esthetician said they can if they’ve never shaved.

In some fantasy world of mine my guy would do it or go your route. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to recommend it. So I’ll tell your story instead. :ahah:

Don’t be silly. The Canadians will gobble you up! Plus you’ll have an accent. ;)

I dunno about gobbling. We have enough wild turkeys that do the gobbling for us.

I've thought of doing this for my eyebrows because I've got big manly eyebrows that need constant maintenance to not look manly.

Heavy eyebrows can be nice. She never would say, but I imagined @Multifavs possessed such a manner of retinal features when I once tried to guess how cute she looks in real life. :D I somehow thought that very thick eyebrows that give her face a hint of seriousness to actually compliment her cuteness were among what she possesses as facial features, but she was reluctant to tell us if that's true or not, of course. ^_^

Does it hurt a lot?

Not at all. Although the specialist did say often during the procedure today that it caused pain to a lot of her patients, such that she thought I just had a high pain tolerance. ... To me it hurt waaaaay less than waxing. There's not even any bruised feeling I have in my face - like a mild pain that is more annoying than anything else simply because it lingers for so long - or anything like that.

The only problem is, that while not painful, at least not to me, it get can get tiresome on account that this is literally every individual hair that she is having to remove. With a small electric jolt for each time. So by the end of this, after maybe ten or visits that last an hour apiece over the next several weeks, I will have likely felt this electric jolt literally a thousand times. And again, while no bruised or scratchy feeling on my face in the hours afterward, there is some noticeable swelling and redness.

The Canadians will gobble you up!

I hope so. I have been to Canada before and there sure are a lot of cute gals there. Their capacity for being overly polite as a whole in comparison to America is certainly sure to sweeten the pot, too. :bigeye:
