Ai yai yai...

So after a less than 5 minute talk at the courthouse clerk window, my duty was to fill out a form, stick it in an envelope, and drop it in a box in front of the courthouse.

And what did I do?

Well, I didn't have a pen so I took off looking for a place to buy one, I saw good ole 7eleven (my favorite restaurant) and went in.

I figured the clerk would maybe let me use one of his or I would just buy one.

But when I walked in the door the first thing I saw was a Lotto kiosk, so I was like, yeah perfect!

And then while I was filling out the form I remembered that I'd written down some numbers that I saw just before waking several times from this lucid type dream I had days ago.

Anyways, so I had 6 numbers, which is exactly what I needed to play Mega Millions! Two of them are repeats though...so..this is like maybe the 5th lotto ticket I've played in my life.

Anywho, the main thing right now, that I wanted to share, is that I forgot all about going and dropping the paperwork back in the box...and I rode several miles before I remembered.

So, then I had to turn around and ride back another several miles (Which I'm kinda doing right now).

But...ha ha... In my loping haste, I crossed a half green light (if that makes sense) and nearly got hit by a car...again...

This time I had to roll to avoid the collision. I fell well, so no worries...rolled right out of it, remounted, told the concerned driver it was my bad, then smashed out.

So, I rode for about a mile and realized some pain in my left wrist (the hand I'm typing with btw)... it's good I'm wearing wrist wraps for more support.

Well, I have to ride back to the drop box still, make the drop, and then continue my journey. I may just call it a ride day and do a little street side gym routine.

I need to clear my mind...and just breathe.

All this to say,

I believe everything happens for a reason.

Yah bless and shalom.

Take care of yourself. Sounds not good, but good that you remain optomistic. Time to slow down.

Yeah, thanks sister, you're right...gather myself. I'm just thankful that I can remain objective through all that's going on.

There was a time that I would be lost in a sea of subjectivity. Writing about it provides some solid ground. Especially when there is some good feedback such as yours!

Oh yeah they wanted me to pay $280 to just settle at the window...I'm like nah, let's go to the box!

I crossed the street on a green light and they said I impeded the trolley...?

*So virtual court in May...

Well, I'm glad Mickie D's was available before court. Gotta at least have something in the belly before possibly getting thrown in the slammer...

Two Mc Chicken bisquits should do it. It's a whole new staple (I don't think I'm using this correctly) for me... haven't been here in so long.

What did you do and how much time are your facing?

Yeah I went through something similar. Not totally but it was a teaching moment that I've never forgotten. I have a spiritual timeline that I started in 1992 and I reflect on teaching moments and basically God moments.

I was in college and working at a nice department store doing gift wrap for my 2-week break. It funded nice Christmas presents. I was going from one activity to another and cramming in so many things. I was running late and there was ice on the road, my car slipped and spun around doing a 180 and the back end hit a tree. I sat there stunned, but was amazingly able to pull out of there despite snow and get to work on time. For the next week and a half my neck and my wrist hurt really bad. It was God's way of telling me to slow down. I've never forgotten that and every time something happens I remember, and slow down.

So somehow I missed this. that's just crazy. How much time are you doing? And what happened? I'm a little bit confused I'm sure I'm missing something.

Is this primarily a female thing...or what?

I love the organizational planning, something I greatly lack.

I think it has to do with how you gals start putting on makeup at a young age. It takes planning and patience...and it's tedious...I'm not good with tedium, at all.

It was God's way of telling me to slow down. I've never forgotten that and every time some little small thing happens I remember, and slow down.

I hear ya (but do I really?), I tend to pour things out, although, I've gotten much better since my youth. Yeah, I need to not always feel like I have to be doing New York messenger speeds all the time.

No, I haven't faced any real time since 2015. I was just kinda making light about a trolley ticket...undeserved might I add.

What's on your mind?

No it's a Sampa thing! In 1996 I was doing a study called Experiencing God. And it talks about these rocks that were put in places throughout the Bible as markers for how God had delivered the Israelites. So there was an activity in the study talking about a family putting rocks in a box or something like that and labeling it. So I got the idea of developing a timeline. That's all before Facebook came about.

It was much more manageable to put on my wall when I was in college but now it's like a book. And I can't keep up I take special times out and I probably will do it this winter again. I've saved all my calendars back to 2000 and have little notes and I try to go back through my prayer journals and develop it.

So sort of like scrapbooking with God. So that could be a female thing. I taught a class on prayer journaling and spiritual timelines and women's retreat once.

I love the organizational planning, something I greatly lack.
yeah that's the infj part of me. Most infj women that I have met have that organizational kind of thing especially getting excited about buying calendars for the New Year.

I think it has to do with how you gals start putting on makeup at a young age.
I wasn't allowed to wear makeup till much later. I was more of a tomboy growing up and then I compensated for it by getting into high fashion and planning on going into fashion merchandising but ended up joining the army. I shocked everybody. But that's always how I've been is just when people think they have me figured out I do something off the wall.

Two of our groups closed today and everyone's emotional. I was okay but now I feel it. We're staying together through other groups and services. You never forget your beginning. It changed my life.

In a roundabout way, it's akin to the mama bird pushing her chicks out the nest and making them fly. Some of us will become mama birds and do the same for others. The cycle continues.

Yeah, I saw a documentary about this! They showed a bunch of rocks that had footprints, I guess, scratched into them...you know, like outlines, and it was based on His promise to give them any land they treaded upon. So they were like, okay we're gonna stake our claim!

I've saved all my calendars back to 2000 and have little notes and I try to go back through my prayer journals and develop it.

That's a really cool quality!

I taught a class on prayer journaling and spiritual timelines and women's retreat once.

What are these spiritual timelines...like ministry and/or prayer goals?

getting excited about buying calendars for the New Year.

I need some of this in my life.

just when people think they have me figured out I do something off the wall.

Uh oh...

Been like over two months and the PS5 is still sold out everywhere.

Oh, yeah one of my nephews bought one way ahead of time to keep it for a time like this. Are you looking buy one? I'll ask him if so.
