Been watching all this coverage from Hawaii and it's creeping me out! Not like it terrifies me, but just watching all this lava creep along and engulf everything in its path. Plus the huge earthquake that rocked the entire island. Makes me wonder if a larger volcanic event is gearing up. There have been large earthquakes all over the earth the past few days, even one off the coast of Louisiana.

Don't eat ramen that often anymore. But, decided to have some tonight, and see if I could "enhancify" it.

Experimented with adding tomatoes, peanuts, boiled eggs, lettuce and a chile from the garden. I guess this goofy Italian can cook after all. :sorry:

Looks good. I picked up some Maruchan Yakisoba a few weeks ago, and promptly forgot about it. Took it to work today, for breakfast. Not bad.

Next time, maybe I'll bring some pocky.

Work... you just can't make some of this stuff up, lol.
Srsly. My recurring theme seems to be that I'm the only one in the office. Colleagues are home with colds, taking their injured kids to the hospital etc.

Yeah, every once in awhile I'll have some. I don't like eating it by itself anymore - especially the chicken flavored packages. But, mixing in some custom ingredients does help quite a bit to improve the taste. In the future, I may try adding chives or making my own broth.

A short article quoted from Cracked ^_^ =>

Prior to the 1990s, all ghosts ever had to worry about was a small band of wisecracking, ghostbusting vigilante scientists. That all changed in 1991, when the New York Supreme Court legally deemed a house to be "haunted" in a peculiar real estate case.

Helen Ackley had moved into a house in Nyack in the '60s, and had told her neighbors that there was something more wrong with it than just the old plumbing. She heard mysterious footsteps and felt the beds shaking, among other typical poltergeist activities. But she also claimed the ghosts left her presents, making them more of the Casper than the 13 Ghostsvariety.

(No word on whether she ever pulled out the old pottery wheel to attract any of the Swayze variety ...)

When Ackley tried to sell the place, the buyer became alarmed after learning that the house was an attraction on a local ghost tour. Buyer Jeffrey Stambovsky took Ackley to court, where it was ruled that Stambovsky could back out of the deal because he had not been told that the house was filled with ghosts before agreeing to buy it.

So if you're ever trying to sell a house, make sure that you tell all of the hopeful couples walking through A) where the fuse box is, and B) where the hellish undead spirits from a life beyond death tend to hang out. (It's usually the couch.)

It's too bad that Dizmas didn't stay together as a band. I like one of their albums and I remember when they were kinda new. But I guess that's usually how it goes. Unless a band becomes super popular they are most likely to move on. They remind me a little bit of another band I heard around the same time.

Some times i think the only thing that keeps me from losing my mind completely is knowing that God is always in control. Even those moments where it feels like He isn't........

Thankfully much like the Bull there is always a method to the madness, even more thankfully He is an infinitely better planner than I could ever even pretend to be.

It is a real shame there will forever be tension between myself and women in general due to my short stature. The anger I feel isn't anywhere near the level of anger that's appropriate for the way I'm treated and mocked behind my back. I really do need to learn how to feel more.

Do you think 100% (or even 90%) of women think less of you because of your height?

Probably, even if they're not mean about it. Biologically I don't see how they can't.

Of course save the few who actually like men my height. They exist, there are always outliers like men who like really overweight women. But they're certainly nowhere near the norm.

So to me, people are a lot more than their biology. Like either gender isn't necessarily always going to be attracted to someone in a way that biologically makes sense. When you add emotions, psychology, personality, etc. into the picture it's a lot different.

The other thing I'm wondering is are you just speaking from a romantic standpoint? Like is the tension you think think most women wouldn't be physically attracted to you? Or are you talking about being liked in a more general sense?

Also in all the times this has been discussed I don't think I have ever asked, but if I can ask, how tall are you?

Most people will never see me in depth, out in the street I'm just a walking inferiority. Perhaps a few men like Tom Cruise are able to surpass that, but sadly not the vast majority of short guys.

Attraction is pretty big, especially concerning the relations between men and women. If someone doesn't want to spread their genetics with men who share poor qualities like short height, I don't see how they can't view us as beneath/not worthy.

Also in all the times this has been discussed I don't think I have ever asked, but if I can ask, how tall are you?

5 foot 7.
