I think it would be cool to have a 3D printer. I'd make so many figures of my characters. :p Too expensive, though.
That would be cool. They should be less expensive in a few years, so I wouldn't be surprised if you have a chance to do it after all. I'm not sure how old you are, but lots of colleges are getting them for the students to use. Even some public libraries. There are also maker clubs you can join for a small fee, and get to use their 3D printers and other equipment. This technology is opening up new ways for people to express their creativity. It's an exciting time to be alive.

Wow, that sounds so cool! Hope they get some 3D printers around here sometime. :)

And hey, that reminds me that even if I haven't 3D printed anything or even seen a 3D printer in person, I did buy a 3D printed figure one time and then painted it myself. ^_^

Like your new avatar man!

Thanks! It's a little more "me" than some of the others I've used.

What does the tree in yours represent? I get the impression that it has some kind of deeper meaning, but maybe I'm reading into things.

Cute! The picture is a little grainy, so it's hard to tell, but did the paint smooth out most of the lines?

Yeah unfortunately the photo turned out a little blurry. :eheh: But yes, I'd say the paint did help to smooth out the lines, you can't see them now. That figure was sanded and primed before I bought it, so some of them were probably already smoothed out. The paint and primer used was Vallejo Game Color, by the way.

Sorry, sorry, not trying to steal your gimmick, Anthony. ^-^

I just really love the expression on that dog's face, is all.

Also, did not realize the funny canine facial expressions had become a chain. So sorry for breaking that up with my previous post. ^_^
It would have been interesting to see how long we could keep that up. :p

Just me and the dog this weekend. Mama Knight went out with friends to some fancy art gallery or something to take care of it in place of the guy they know who usually does or whatever, and his eleven dogs, ... and I am staying right here just chillin' with Tallulah.

Tallulah has suddenly been seen panting way more frequently than normal (in fact, I hardly ever saw her do it until the last couple of weeks), even though she spends very little time outside running around or anything tiring, and this house says as cool as any other household in Houston would logically be doing in the springtime, so I wondered if I should take her to the vet just to check on her. Is it just a part of getting old for dogs?
