All praise to the Most High!

In November of 2023 I became aware of the allegations against Sean Diddy Combs made by Cassie Ventura in a 60 page civil lawsuit. The malicious things she endured were heart wrenching to hear. He settled the case but we weren't satisfied and demanded justice for her and others he harmed.

We prayed for the Lord's justice and judgment. Several lawsuits followed and the feds got involved this year. He was arrested last night and the charges were unsealed this morning. It's been a long time coming but our prayer was answered.

The Lord isn't done! :amen:

He's not getting bail.
They've frozen his assets.
They're seizing everything connected to him, the businesses, and what he put in his relatives name.

The NY court doesn't play! This is the one that prosecuted Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, El Chapo and more. They rarely lose.

Just got done with a workout.

I have not been regular with my workout routine the last few weeks. Usually a work out twice a week. It's been at least a week since I worked out if not a week and a half. I was just getting back into working out before then.

I'm debating calling it at two sets for all my workouts since my muscles feel very weak like I am shaking a bit.

What I did:

Two sets of each (unless otherwise specified):
Pull-ups X4
One set of planks on knees 1:20 minutes One set of plants with knees off ground 30 seconds.
I do pushups on my pull-up device. This makes it much harder since it is a much deeper push. I go down slowly and I explode upwards which also makes it much harder. X10
Touchdown squats where I stand on a bucket and go down on one leg all the way down and then back up. X3. I am working up to doing a pistol squat.
Horizontal Pull where I put a bar across two chairs lay down under the bar and pull myself towards it. X8
Ab roller. A wheel with a handle going through the middle of it. You grab the handles on your knees extend away from you and roll back. X10
Vertical push. I use 15lb dumbbells for this. Rest with dumbbells above your shoulders. Extend upward and go back down. X10.

I feel like I worked out hard enough. I am a sweaty mess right now.

It's hard to understand. He's saying a lot of stuff without really saying anything.

In the past I'd have agreed churches singles groups skewed men horribly, but now that I'm part of one that has more women, for all I know I just had a really small sample size. I used to think men are fed up w/ the world's way of doing it so are attracted to how God wants it done, but why wouldn't women think that too???? I think if there's any skewing, it's marrieds / couples to singles. Churches are dominated by those who have found a partner . It's like it's only for the marrieds / couples sometimes. NOt sure if singles just feel out of place or discouraged or what.

I like the article says the churches bending the historical rules are the ones that are actually most in decline. I like this b/c I 've seen it first-hand once you start bending some rules, it's not long until you're teaching 'well, for all we know none of it is true' and once youre there there's no point in going at all. Tho I have seen some stats churches bending the rules aren't in as much decline, so I guess it depends on who's giving the stats.

I saw this video yesterday and I think it's pertinent although that isn't obvious. When you have an academic and wage gap you'll see parallels elsewhere. If men are struggling it isn't surprising they'd turn to God. If women aren't and benefited from the spoils of equality they'd expect the same at church and leave if that wasn't the case.

There's a lot of christian communities for women on the internet. Groups, apps, memberships, bible studies and podcasts to name a few. They'll find likeminded people elsewhere. As the article notes, the women appeared with men not alone.

Perhaps people become more serious about God when they're settled than not.

I'm in a group and the majority are married. There's a handful who are dating or single. Most of their conversation is related to their spouse and marital struggles. But I'm in another group with a demographic that's more diverse. Some married, dating and single. The bulk of their conversation is about themselves, what they're doing or working towards. See the difference?

That's why most single women are liberal. They want experiences. But traditional roles are more defined and they view them as constraints. Not that they're opposed to marriage and family. But they need more. That isn't the whole of their fulfillment. They still need to learn, grow, travel, etc.

You're moving in different directions that's why the middle is hard to find.

I found out about this from randomly flipping to the notes section of that one book I mentioned. I don't believe this...

Yes, I did know what the right answer was.
Ha ha, I was just watching clips from this show earlier this week but hadn't seen this one. Good clip but unlucky guy.

They need to bring trivia shows back! The dumbing down of society.............?

I noticed I don’t like talking politics even w/ people I agree w/. My familly's the same way. I heard once it's a Midwest thing but I don't know if that's true or not. I guess if I’m going to talk about politics or religion, I pick religion :)

Sadly I think a lot of them come from brokenen-ess.

I was thinking of the God -> man -> woman -> child chart that’s taught in some churches. If there’s a trend to men becoming more religious, especially single men, it’s because of that. There’s no woman, & other men can only offer so much. Chart also explains why many women attracted to the unsaved.

I wonder if they become more serious about God when they’re settled b/c part of that chain is restored........

Yesterday in church we were discussing God’s design for men & women. There’s a design and it’s good, and when you mess up the design, it’s not good.

Sadly I think a lot of them come from brokenen-ess.

There's a different paradigm in our culture that didn't exist in the past. It isn't a stigma not to marry or have children and doing so is a choice. They have alternatives now.

I saw a commercial that attested to this last year. Four women pooled their resources and purchased a home. I think we'll see more of that and communal living too and communities will follow.

I don't think they'll walk away from God but the majority won't return to church. There's a shift underway and it isn't political or feminist. It's a culmination of desiring more and fatigue with the norm. If what you need doesn't exist you build it yourself.

Passport girls will become a trend in the future.

I wonder if they become more serious about God when they’re settled b/c part of that chain is restored........

That's understandable. They're in a relationship.
