Very nice. The roofs of my neighborhood has at least 2 feet of snow on thrm. Fascinating to watch as it melts and long icicles form with it. Super tired and grateful for a Sunday nap

Sunday nap sounds wonderful.

Yesterday, I didn't think it would take as long as it did to dig my car out for my morning commute, and wound up driving with two inches of snow on the hood, roof, and trunk XD

Work seems pointless sometimes. I don't care for money, have enough to care for myself, & don't have a family to care for. I'll probably just end up donating it all someday somewhere.

Things are moving really fast at work. Helped my best associate get promoted, which caused the dominoes to fall will create an opening at my original store, five minutes from my house. I intend to apply for it, but it's considered a "desirable" location, and so there will be a lot of competition. I'm also a little uneasy with the other people in the department.
But it's close to home, and I'd get to keep working with the same Doctor, so it's worth the risk, I think.

I have such a headache from the lights....it's a crazy snow lake ice pond in everyone's yard. I have 2 owls that have regularly been whooing when I come home. Also saw an eagle over my neighborhood the other day.

We have some owls out here that nest in an old barn on my neighbor's property. They can be a tad nosy at night sometimes, but I like having them around, helps keep the mice and other pests under control.

Been working on memorizing hymns & praise songs. I have only a couple down. They're a little easier to memorize than Bible passages b/c you they're set to song & rhyme.

I must say you encourage me in my faith with your diligence! Keep pressing into Jesus. You have to find what works for you. I struggle with scripture memory too.

Sometimes I feel kind of lonely. I wish I had more friends, and I miss being part of an active community. I wish the ones I used to be a part of hadn't changed.

I am sorry you are feeling that. Do you attend a church & do they have events where you can meet people? They may not be what you're looking for, but they would be good for you regardless.

I haven't been able to physically attend Mass in a long time. Even when I did, I didn't really know anyone there. I now spend most of my time at home, so I usually only interact with people online.
