So frustrated with speech therapy today. I was told I'm a challenging case. :tantrum: prayers appreciated:prayer: the Lord has been blessing me in other ways, but this process of not being able to speak intermittently for the past year is embarrassing and makes workplace communication hard. February I'll see an otoronlongist 3 hrs away. 3 month wait.

Of course you have our prayers, Miss Sampa.

I'm thinking about 2024 and how to not only encourage others in their walk here, but how I can reach one of my new years resolutions, having a quiet time once a week for the rest of the year. How I can become engaged with God and the word as I was in my 30s? How I can use the gifts (teaching, study of the word, speech, prayer, discernment, youth teens and young adults) God has given me in my church despite my health hurdles?

Also thinking on the changes in my workplace, as my boss said I'm an Army of one now. How can I be a witness for the year, how can I squeeze a quiet time in? How can I start praying for friends, frenemies, enemies and those I have not met yet? I pray the Lord will give me new inspiration this year in how I can go above and beyond since I retired various roles last year.

I want to watch the Narnia movies! I recently bought all 3. I’m OCD about doing things chronologically so know I should start w/ the 1st one but I’ve seen that one a bunch & want to go right to the 2nd & 3rd ones (the 2nd one I’ve seen a few times, the 3rd I’ve only seen once)

PS: I’ve said it before here but I’d like to see them make the others some day. Knowing them they’ll probably just reboot it again w/ the original :/

I've seen those years and years ago and really enjoyed them. Great books too! :)

I'm sorry. What's going on?

We had long shifts last week. I feel like I need more time to recover.

Also, I haven't been happy with work. There's been some bad stuff happening there. There's a particular thing I need to talk to my boss about and I'm dreading it.

I will be praying. Let us know the outcome. 12 hours almost everyday for me the next two weeks. Depending on decisions with management with weather. Hopefully I can check in.
