Feeling great stress at work tonight. And a good bit of it is due to the relentlessly loud radio in the room next to me. I've tried several times over the last few months to get them to keep it at a lower volume, but it just keeps coming back up to intrusive levels. And tonight they outright told me they won't turn it down. I held my tongue and let on that such a blatantly rude and inconsiderate response did not bother me, thankfully. But I can't just go to a supervisor and ask them to take care of the issue for me, at least not right now. I've been here long enough to know that it will lead to confrontation that just won't be worth it in the end. And I also don't want to deal with being seen as the whiny narc by the guys working in the lab next door from here on out were I to get someone higher up to tell them to keep the radio down for me.

I may just try to not let it bother me for a while, stay cool for maybe a month, and then request to be put on another crew for unrelated reasons, and that way no one should suspect that I am just wanting get away from the radio, and thus won't give me a hard time about it.

But man, the beats from those maddeningly awful R&B and gangster-wannabe rap songs are like a repeated rail spike through my ear canal.

Please pray for me to get through this.

I’m just impressed with how you manage to do your videos with one continuous shot. Mine are always a jump cut mess by the end that still includes at least two side tangents I couldn’t part with

I haven't really.

Just enjoying the latest Call Of Duty game. Although I wish video games were as magical when I was younger. Seems like everything was a little more fun back then.
