I've had good experiences with the Catholic services that I've attended. Being there with a Catholic friend probably helped. This is coming from somebody who was raised in a non-denominational church, and mostly attended a Calvary Chapel while in college. I also have Quaker leanings, and tend to score high in the Orthodox category when it comes to "which denomination are you" quizzes. Those of us who are part of the catholic (little C) church have a lot in common, despite what some would lead us to believe.

Oddly, I felt most out of place at a Lutheran service. Maybe the issue was the dynamic of that particular congregation. It wasn't the liturgy, which I find that I can appreciate despite also feeling at home in unprogrammed services, but something did feel off.
It's more what they believe then the congregation itself.

I've attended Lutheran, Baptist, RCA, & non-denominational churches consistently & nothing ever seems off or wrong, tho I do have my preference.

I've been fun getting back into R/C airplanes, after years away from the hobby. I picked up a small trainer to help prepare me for another model. A larger and more complicated plane that I haven't finished putting together yet. Yesterday, I took the small one out for its maiden flight. The wind posed a challenge, but it flew surprisingly well.

5555 posts - apparently that's another angel number.

I just find it strange how all angel numbers symbolise the same thing, regardless of the number OR the combination of said number.

Word to the wise angels, do NOT consider a career as a lock maker or safe cracker. I don't think numbers are your speciality.

Thank you V. I accomplished my goal in 3 months. I’m adding to it now. :)

You’re welcome. It would take more than $5K to put away a year of food with a freezer here and the average size is too small and most can’t fork hand over $3K+ to buy a cow.

The hikes are a gimmick and meant to hit the ceiling. No one who can buy in bulk is dealing with retail.

I look forward to reading it. Stay focused. Don’t get distracted.

No I reckon buying an actual cow isn't something that's on on everybodies checklist. :ahah:

I have checked out some of the vids and it's good stuff. I am not finished with all of them yet.
The hikes are clearly a gimmick. The videos with what a future city will be like. City life is not for me and in certainly won't be in the future either.

I will stay focused and won't get disctracted. Thanks.

Ending a friendship with someone is never easy, especially when you have known that person for 22 years. But sometimes, for your mental health, you just have to do what you have to do. Live, learn, and grow!
Do what is best for you. God be with you and comfort you.

So they took us to Catholic mass on Palm Sunday. Some things didn't sit right w/ me but it was fine.
If you aren't familiar with the liturgy, it may seem odd. Those who come from Evangelical or Baptist or Pentecostal backgrounds do not find the liturgy very meaningful.

I do not know what your religious background is.

I've only been to a Protestant Church once- UCC- and found it rather lacking. IMO. There was very little scripture from what I recall, and a ton of music with lay people preaching. Not much structure from what I am used to from my Catholic background.

Fascinating. It seems like Catholic, Lutheran, and Episcopalian/Anglican Masses/Divine Services are nearly identical. I can understand what you mean by a particular congregation. I've had those experiences too.

"How are you?" That pivotal question in everyone's day; well, let me tell you exactly how I am. I feel like I always get negative reactions from people when I say, "I am tired." Then, I feel like I have to apologize. But I do not know what to be sorry for. So now I am left thinking, "What am I supposed to say when someone asks me how I am?" Is it okay to lie and say, "I am fine," because clearly, telling the truth is not getting me anywhere?! However, lying just does not work for me. It seems so stupid to me to lie over such a simple question like, "How are you?" I cannot believe the audacity of people nowadays! Stop judging and be genuine!! It is really not all that hard!

It's true that the angel numbers and descriptions we see all over the internet are basically the same little inspirational messages repeated. I do believe though that numbers do have symbolism! ^_^ Like even in bible there are meanings with different numbers. Like 0-1 usually symbolizes new beginnings/creation, while 7 represents completion, etc.

Having a bad ADHD day and I'm so behind on my work!
That's never fun!

Okay, really random thought, but you know what suddenly dawned on me?

That it'd be pretty cool to have pointed ears like an elf's.
Ohh, I want to know what sort of elf ears you are thinking? Since I notice lots of different types in fiction and movies and such. ^_^ But I do know some people with a little point to their ears, like my younger sister's ears resemble little elf ears that are so cute, but she gets mad when I say that, haha!

The Deedlit sort. Except maybe only half the length, but definitely the same amount of pointyness. ^_^

I have family members who are Episcopalian, so I can attest to the similarities, but there was something odd about that particular Lutheran church. Part of me would like to go back and pinpoint what seemed so off about it, but I'd rather not.
