I'm so sick of rain,Tomorrow I was supposed to go to a christian music festival but
it got postponed till next week cause of the rain.

That must be frustrating. What're they debating you about?

Three things are on the brain tonight:
1) Will it ever, ever stop raining? Joaquin is one of those uninvited guests that never had a welcome to wear out in the first place, and won't ever just leave.
2) I finished reading through a blog I used to keep about ten years ago, and wow, God's brought me a long way. I still wrestle with some of the same things, but I've become much, much wiser in general.
3) The Netflix Android app CANNOT be taking EIGHT HOURS to update!!! Cannot.

Heh. Most of the time, those debates aren't worth having - unless debate's your thing.

Yeah, same here. I'm not a very good debater. I'm not much of a debater, but a lot of people just have very closed minds. A few people were going back and forth with me on facebook today; no amount of reasonable thinking and actual facts could help me. lol. It's better to do as you do ; just get to the point and get out. The back and forth serves no purpose.

Going to explore a new church tomorrow me thinks it is a "mega church" type so idk but have heard good things about their worship service so I'm gonna check it out.

I found this awesome church where the pastor's wife picks you up at the train station. I was like: Wow! I'm so used to who cares, take the bus and walk or take a bike.

Thats nice messy but at my church there is no more pastors wife as she died.
At the other one i was going to the pastors family lived a the manse and they could just walk to church as was right next door. She had five children and was always chauffeuring them around, so was too busy to look after me. I would try to make appointments but in the end gave up as half the time they never showed...always busy with their own family, meetings, sports, etc..

It was nice they invited me to their daughters wedding though. But i just wonder if its the right thing when you end up running round after your pastor instead of the other way round.

Yes that's sad. People are so busy with their own family that they have no time for singles. A guy on cf wanted to commit suicide last week. I befriended him on Facebook. He had 165 Facebook friends, nice parents, friends he also knew irl. He lost his job and said he would be homeless.
I thought: What? Can noone take you in their home? Complete strangers help him because everybody is too occupied with themselves. Just yesterday I saw a friend of him say: hey how are you doing? With a picture with a husband and kids. Pffff he has a Dutch prayer team now praying for him. I wonder if anyone of his friends or family even knows.
