OMM: Hospitals, pain, and the mercy of God. Yesterday afternoon/night was very traumatic for me and my family. I had to be rushed to the hospital but was finally released late last night. A few good things came out of it. 1. My church went above and beyond. They've gone out of their way to do whatever they can, all the deacons even came to the hospitaland prayed for me. 2. Even when I was screaming because of the pain, the Lord was with me and helped me. 3. Even though yesterday was a hard day for everyone my parents helped me, loved me, and prayed over me. Yesterday I saw the love and mercy of God displayed in so many beautiful ways and for that I cannot help but praise Him. I'll be MIA for a little while. Take nothing for granted and thank God even in the "small" things.

I am so sorry. That sounds absolutely dreadful. I'm so glad your family and church were there for you.

From January to February I lived in the hospital with my dad, and he a had a few close calls, so I know a thing or two about hospitals.

I work for myself and love it. I'll deal with customers and stuff. But a central boss isn't easy.

My life is a mess that God is putting right.
This whole rearrangement thing is puzzling me but it seems to grate oneveryone else around me who dont understand.

Pretty sure I'm on the verge of an emotional meltdown. This is extremely foreign to a person like me, but even I'm not completely guarded enough from succumbing to emotions. This has been coming since the beginning of the year...and now with a mixture of recent events and particular news I'm finally very near my breaking point I think, or maybe I just underestimate myself.

Good news is - I'll get through it.

Bad news is - I accidentally revealed a snippet of this problem to my mother earlier and now I know tonight she'll sit me down and try to get to the bottom of what's wrong. ...Really? Like, we're not talking 'one' thing here, we're talking a hot mess of emotions that have built up over the last 11 years of my life. And yes, it's probably been that long since I had a real heart-to-heart talk with my mother.

In short: My life is hell today. ...But after I drink my afternoon coffee and snuggle my cats things will look brighter.

I am terrible with overthinking about stuff also, it's like your greatest asset, and also a burden when applied to interpersonal stuff.

Wow, I had no idea there was another one today.

As it stands now, I only feel bad for the families of the 9 dead, 7 injured.... there is one dead I can't feel bad for. I can't celebrate it, but that 1 DID bring their own outcome by choice to do what they did.

Well, taking some time off from the internet is good. I get to do more stuff that way. Believe me, it's never easy to have a long to-do list when you have internet access. The temptation fuels my procrastination.

I can relate with that, studies are definitely very time consuming! My studies in college are now finished, though I have been studying a lot of different things in my own free time now.

Ah yes, I know what you mean...procrastination is one of my foes as well. I do get a lot more done when I don't log onto my computer, so it has helped a lot in my productivity with daily tasks.

Yeah, sort of what I was thinking. When they first switched over, my screen name was my real last name, lol. They must have gotten it from my email address, but George switched it back right away.

Oh no! I am glad that they were able to fix it right away. It is weird it glitched like that.

That's good. I've been busy, so not much time online lately... but things are going pretty well.

Alright, I haven't been on here much, but I am a bit confused. Have they been merging some accounts? I have been noticing old posts by some members who made new accounts, though their old accounts that they don't use anymore I am no longer able to click on...which I thought maybe they had requested to have it done, but then I looked at some of my friends profiles and what is really weird is that two of my friends who are sisters who used to post here seem to have had their accounts merged with each other, even though they haven't come on in a while. It is really weird.
