Its my birthday today!!! Well....my "born again" birthday!! 
It was this day, 9 years ago, that after many, many months of talking to me, connecting with me, laughing with me, crying with me encouraging me, and talking to me about Jesus, a friend sat with me as I prayed, and I gave my heart, and my life to Jesus!!

Please pray for the warranty place to cover my son's engine today! It has been a real struggle to get everyone everywhere with one vehicle. Apparently they have an inspector AND an adjuster AND the mechanic! This happened last Sunday and we really need it covered. I don't want my son to ruin his credit because they won't cover the engine.

Michelle, I pray things go well with the car. Costs for that can really pile up, I know from unhappy experience.

Please keep praying. We went there yesterday to try and get a rental car, but they didn't have any available. They said the inspector had just left so he was going to go write his report and hopefully we will hear some good news today. That the engine is covered and they have a rental car for him.
The service guy said yesterday that it was looking good in his favor because there was no signs of lack of maintenance and it was one of the cleanest engines they had seen. The service guy also took pictures of the oil and saved some of it. That made me feel good and nervous at the same time. Because he knows what this warranty company is like so he does all this documentation "just in case" and that's what made me nervous. He also said that since our oil receipts didn't have the VIN number on them we could have just made them on the internet but I just got my oil changed and it doesn't have the VIN number on it either! Plus the guy can vouch that my son has taken his car there multiple times for oil changes. And the second red flag according to the service guy is the fact that it is 600 miles before the warranty would have expired. Whew! is what I say and too bad. How many cases like this do they have? So we shall see. I believe it will be covered, but extra prayers never hurt. TIA

I've never heard of putting a vin number on an oil receipt. I guess if you got the change in Jiffy lube they might have that in their records and so have it available. But then the local garage guy would know what car he worked on as well.
Sounds like after this is resolved it might be time to get a new insurance company.

Well you know the dealership puts everything on there (including all the "extra" work they say you need).
After this whether they cover it or not, the warranty will be over because it was 36 months or 36,000 miles extended warranty and we are 600 miles from the 36,000 so I suspect we won't be dealing with them ever again.

Good news Good news!!!! They finally made a decision and they are going to COVER the engine and a rental car for 5 days. Good thing we didn't have the rental car all this time, IDK why it's only for 5 days but I expect it to be fixed in 5 days then. But PRAISE THE LORD!!!!! I gave it to the Lord and He heard my prayer! Thank you Jesus! God is good! But He would be good whether or not He took care of this little issue. Thank you Lord!!!
