If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...

Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2)

And there are three varieties...

Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, but this has chemical and spiritual properties as well.
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)

Mass can disassociate into plasma, and plasma can re-associate into mass, however to the Father's will and liking. After the millennial I would look for a great Great Disassociation in which all the elements will return to the plasma energy from whence they were forged and God is going to do something else with it. And described in 2 Peter...

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. - 2 Peter 3:10

In which case I am hopes that Christians take their trials with patience, as it is said....

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. - Hebrews 10:34

And Peter reemphasizing...

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? - 2 Peter 3:12

Think.. Judging my the enormous size of the universe, which is about 100 billion galaxies just in the observable universe... That is going to be an enormous amount of light and energy once disassociated! And God is going to use all of that to create a new heaven and a new earth...

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. - Isaiah 65:17

I want to be around to see what God does with all that light and energy!

I did leave Christianity...for roughly four years. I was prideful and judgmental. God chose to have me experience the judgement I was putting on my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. It was horrible. I just came back last week.

Would you leave Christianity for $1,000,000? Maybe $2,000,000? If you were offered a Bentley or Rolls Royce car to turn your back on God, would you make the deal? Would you renounce Christ for a top of the line Rolex or Breitling watch? What would it take for you to leave Christianity?

Personally, I would never leave Christianity for anything. In fact, the Devil even offered to make me a multibillionaire to depart from my faith, but I rejected him many times.
proof that there's no resurrection.

one contradiction one could find in scripture.

if they found life on other planets.

Why? Are you offering?

There is not enough money, riches, fame, power, health, or anything else that would cause me to leave Christ.

Nothing, because....

Mark 8:36
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Mark 8:37 Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

What price can you place on living with Jesus, sitting at his feet, hearing his voice, forever? That's not to mention, whatever he meant by reward. That reward is enough for me. To be the least in the Kingdom and see him. Can you imagine how wonderful that moment will be when we all see him for the first time?

On the other hand people will trade him for gold before he returns and forfeit their lives and souls.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”

Agreed, and I would take it one step further. People always want to blame the congregation attendees or the people who sit in seats. But in reality it is false leadership and bad doctrine that produces this and they are to blame. It is the result of pulpits being occupied by hirelings and this is the fruit.

Forgive me, but it is not the leadership of the church, or the people that sit in the seats. It is the lack of Catechesis that produces poking blame at other people. If you have not been properly taught, then it is up to you to research to find the correct teaching.

The question should be reworded as follows...

Would you accept to be killed for $1,000,000? Maybe $2,000,000?

It's even more dear than that. I think being put to shame in front of Jesus would be worse than death.

If someone paid you a million bucks to stop believing in gravity, would you actually stop believing in gravity, or would you just be laughing all the way to the bank, both feet firmly planted on the ground?

If a person could actually stop believing in Christ, chances are the belief was not there in the first place.

Lol..not a question I ever gave thought to. No different then asking "will you die for Him". Easy to say when no gun to your head.. no one really offering you any money.

Fact is.. you we dont know who we really are until that moment .. every comes. A few know..

Nothing would make me leave Christianity, as long as I relied on Christ for strength.

One interesting way to think about leaving Jesus Christ is: what would you think of a guy who, by some fault of his, got his friend unjustly beaten, scourged, and crucified, and then ruined this friend's memory for money?

It should inherently be morally repulsive to betray Christ, not because He is God alone, but because a human being was literally crucified for you.

Money won't make me leave Christianity.

Only one thing that would make me leave Christianity is if I found out everything in our religion is a lie.

Why would you suggest there's a possibility that our faith could be a lie, even if you're only speaking hypothetically? God is not a fraud.
