I thank all those sincerely-seeking people who took the time to read all that has been typed up on this thread - nearly all of the lecture of "What We Believe" in the Orthodox Church. Dorothea.Thanks for all of this information,As a former roman catholic,I find all of this fascinating.Currently "Church shopping".Not quite sure where I fit in yet.I disagree with the infallibility of the pope and the ban on women priests,as well as the catholic churches stance on birth control.I also disagree that priests can not marry.

They would, Matt, but it was done in the mid 1990s by Fr. Anderson, who is back in the Byzantine Catholic Church because of the Ben Lomand mess back then in CA, but he is excellent in the video and I called him a year or so ago and told him I enjoyed his lectures.
