I'm playing Minecraft for the first time (and really like it) and cannot find a block of coal to save my life. Tromping through this map without torches is....not fun.

The biggest thing standing in the way of progress in this country is not so much any particular politician or political party, though those are big roadblocks. It's "looking out for number one" mentality that our system inculcates into us from an early age: I can't let someone else have a chance to succeed, because that might slightly inconvenience me.

It's a real problem that I'm not sure how to fix.

I'm not planning to do much with my leave; it's just a week. But I haven't stopped for months and I thought if I didn't take a break I'd be staggering through Holy Week, so...

Getting my taxes done. And having to file an amended return. I E-filed my 1040 early last week. 2 days ago, I got an updated 1099 statement from my brokerage firm showing significantly more dividends and slightly more capital gains were paid to my account. Meaning my tax is higher. So now I have to file a 1040-X. Which I can't do electronically. And I may wind up owing the IRS rather than getting a refund. Fortunately, I haven't done my state return yet. But I might owe the state some money also. Such a hassle.

Are they not meant for plaster?

They were popular for making ornaments.

Just mix with water, pour in the mould wait for it to set,
peel off the mould (reusable) and paint.

Yes , but plaster would not be practical for outdoors.

I would have to be some form of cement filler then,
concrete is too heavy for a flexible mould.
