What do you do for fun?

I hang out with some really good friends quite a bit, also work in my yard, garden, shop (spend more money than I should probably), I LOVE to read, drive down off-roads.

Now that you are a thirtysomething, what do you do for fun? When you want to do something just for enjoyment and nothing else. What is appropriate for someone who is a thritysomething to do for fun??

I often go to the senoir center for a game of bingo. j/k, but it might not be bad idea...

You know you really should!! I volunteer for bingo at the nursing home in town and I love it!!

For fun I also like to read, hang out with my kids and hubby and I also like sing and listen to loud music!!

For fun, I go to Cedar Point, go for a walk, watch movies and go for drives in the country.

walk down the road from my house if I am home early enough. I do this at a time when as I'm coming back I am facing west and watching the sunset. It's relaxing yet good exercise all in one!

I've looked through the Indiana map and decided that there are about 4-5 state parks and/or reservoirs within 1-1 1/2 hour drive from my house so I've decided this summer I am going to visit hopefully all of them and walk the trails and maybe do some other activities offered at each one (swimming, paddleboating, etc...). I figure it's something I can do on my pathetic budget.

I love playing board games with grown ups, lol...I like playing board games with my kiddies, too, but I definitely enjoy the intellectual stimulation associated with playing games above the level of Hungry Hungry Hippo or Chutes and Ladders.

I also love playing cards...once again, my preference for true enjoyment would be with adults.
