Simple answer is to prevent hearing loss when shooting. The example I saw was when hunting. Personally I don't want that, I want to know when there is someone in the woods discharging a gun.

Demons are aware of their own evil. There nature is to actively chose bad.
Satan however is also the Father of lies, and the big lie here is to persuade people to do evil things by convincing them that such evil acts are actually moral on some level. People are thus operating with control of their own faculties, but on the basis of believing in the lie that what they are doing is good.

For example, in WWII many Europeans were convinced that they were doing the world a favor by getting rid of the Jews, and homosexuals and gypsies too for that matter.
The same is true for the Islamist jihadists who fly planes into buildings. They have been convinced that almighty God is on their side.
If demonic possession, then exorcism is the way forward.
But if demonic influence, the way to counter the lies of Satan is with the truth.

The truth that the West has forgotten is that we are created in the image of God, and that from conception until its natural end, all human life is imbued with immeasurable sacred value.

That isn't going to happen. Uranium will be too much of a hot item to be offered for sale and the cost will by higher. BUT if we make it 1990 dollars it should not be all that difficult to mine your own uranium and set up a spectrometer to separate out the U235 in a decade or so. Though honestly a dirty bomb using some nasty isotopes of other elements and traditional explosives as the dispersal device seems a lot easier.

Be very glad I'm not a terrorist. I generally do not talk about the really nasty ideas.

The Las Vegas shooter acted like he had no trace of humanity whatsoever on the day that he did what he did. He acted like a murdering robot. That's why it seems that he was demon possessed.

Ban Guns, they'll use explosives.
Ban the sell of explosives, they'll make it themselves.
Ban equipment for making explosives ?? (Can't really be done) They'll make biological weapons (Ever mix Ammonia & bleach, are we going to ban cleaning agents ? )

Want to reduce it, increase mental health screenings (might have to have forced yearly screening though)
Force everyone to walk (Ban all cars / trucks as they've been used in multiple attacks)
Skin tight clothing only, no pockets to hide stuff. Single ID Band for identification, and give up your freedoms of travel, privacy, self control, ect.

One issue with "mental health screening" is that they are subjective and another is that most people are depressed at one time or another in their lives! Even suicidality is "fleeting" in general. Coping skills are needed for the average person, and God provides this support. I honestly do not know how people go through life without GOD! He is my Rock.

Most people who are considered "mentally unwell" at one point in time of their lives are NOT also homicidal.

Your premise assumes that ALL firearm owners in the USA are dangerous and thus should be disarmed. I'm suggesting that if you remove the 3 key cities where the majority of those crimes are committed, you find the USA a fairly safe place to live in general. You're less likely to die by another's hand if you don't live in one of those cities... and even less likely if you aren't in a gang.
