What do Democrats see in Ocasio-Cortez?

Does that include when they make up bills such as the New Green Deal that ends up being endorsed by every democrat running for president? This indicates that those who want to be president are in agreement with her, even when she proposes stuff like this. Shouldn't we be concerned?
It isn’t a bill, it’s a resolution. And all it really is is a list of ideals regarding the environment and climate change. Have you read it? It really isn’t as scary as conservative media would have you believe. No one is trying to end air travel or livestock flatulence.

By 2050, the majority of Americans will no longer be considered "white," but an assortment of visible minorities.

If the southern border stays unsecured until then, you're probably right.

Real America is grateful to Mueller and his team in pursuing Trump and his minions. He and his folks have literally saved America from going to a far right turn in the road that would have led to America's destruction.

The elections next year will put Trump's candidacy down and America on the good road once again.

We are very fortunate to avoid that tragedy.

If you want the Green Deal, be ready for 60-70% tax rates.

That alpone doesn't answer the question of whether or not she has been promoted patronized, pushed forward, or put on a pedestal by party leaders in a way that is unusual considering her shortcomings.

That's been done more by the media than by the party.

The party leadership is running a bit scared right now. These new members caught them by surprise and they don't know how to handle it.

And attractive. That counts for media attention.
Young yes, but have you noticed that she is presented most often as someone with a vacant gaze, bulging eyes, and/or excessive gesturing? But I suppose "attractive" is in the eye of the beholder.

GOP are more concerned than Dems about AOC.

I was impressed with her questioning last week in subcommittee hearings: precise, clear, no ums or ahs. Prepared.

She has a slight thyroid problem, which is no issue at all.

The news media loves and so do a lot of Democrats. But why?

She is a bright shiny object, another altar to bow before. Hillary Clinton's effigy in the sacraium finally crumbled, and something has to take its place.

I was impressed with her questioning last week in subcommittee hearings: precise, clear, no ums or ahs. Prepared.

Do you actually believe she wrote those questions?

No one is bowing before anything on the left. As demonstrated repeatedly on this thread, the right is far more obsessed with AOC than the left is. She is not an alter for the left, she is an effigy for the right.

I don't, and am ready to vote against such things whenever given the chance. Although I'm all for the idea of installing solar panels and wind turbines where and when practical, I don't think we should be forced into relying solely on them before they can do as good a job as what we have. Same goes for scrapping air travel to rely on trains and boats.

Which of her bill proposals has been passed by the House?

More to the point, how many democrats running for president endorsed her New Green Deal? Consider it a preview of what's to come if one of them wins in 2020.

Good thing the Green New Deal doesn’t suggest wind and solar where not feasible nor does it scrap air travel.

No, it just talks about building high speed rail systems that have already been financial disasters already. The current version of it doesn't even go into specifics anymore. Too controversial to do that. Now it just reads like a liberal manifesto.

Only inasmuch as it is “technologically feasible.” You left that part out.

Mostly the GND is a list of idealistic goals regarding the environment. It isn’t really that scary or out there. The right really needs to stop obsessing over it. Makes all y’all look unhinged.

How about economically feasible?
Paying for the Green New Deal
We will need revenues between $700 billion to $1 trillion annually for the Green New Deal. $400 billion will be for the public jobs programs. Estimates for the transition to 100% clean energy start at $200 billion a year. Green New Deal – Full Language

Of course, as with all cost estimates of government spending, it only goes up from those figures.
