Rain???

:(

I wish it was raining here - that would mean B would come home, I would have my keys, and I could get some more work done!

Think someone's trying to tell me to stop being a perfectionist? Whaddya reckon?

:)

Sasch

ps. I DID actually get onto mopping the floor. Only ones left to do are my bathroom and the laundry (the ones that need a vacuum first)...

Bowling sounds fun. I haven't done it in years though, and even then I was never all that good at it. It's a fun atmosphere though.

This morning was church, and this afternoon was family lunch (in laws) and prayer time. ALthough we didn't get to pray for BIL who still needs a job, because R had to bring me home so he could go to work. SO we are pretty busy here. About to go and give Daniel a bath and think about watching the news.

I can relate to the not being too good at bowling yet enjoying the fun atmosphere! I recall a work social night where we went to the Penrith AMF bowling centre and had a couple of games, and i can say safely that the gutterballs were coming regularly for me! But even though it was a tad embarrassing, none of my workmates were too picky of my lack of ability on the lanes. :)

Today...

Went to my bf's ex-gf's place to pick up boxes and return her mower
Went to my parent's place to see the bird was ok, and still had water
Came home - and guess what! I bought vacuum bags! :p

So... I decided what I was throwing out, sending to salvos and keeping. Vacuumed AND washed the floors, and THEN realised that I couldn't have the shower I was longing for, cos I'd all ready washed THOSE floors!

So now I'm having a rest and a FREEZING cold drink before jumping in the shower. Tonight I'll watch Australian Idol and then probably a DVD.

haha.. we had one game without bumpers and i didnt fair too badly. (only scored 87 lol) but there was a young guy on our side who wasnt doing well at all so we put the bumpers up for the second game, and thats when the fun started ^_^ all ill say is there were cammo rolls, 360 spins, around the worlds, seeing how fast you can make the ball go (that was fun, and we got some awesome speeds!) etc etc.. you get the picture ;)
overall for my first time organising something it went quite well :) this morning the people who went were raving about it! they had so much fun. :D

It is 7:30pm on Sunday now. I went to Sunday School and church this morning with my husband, Steve. Then after we came home we had fried chicken for dinner with some mac and cheese and coleslaw. Then I took a small nap. Then I did some studying. After that I went to choir rehearsal at church. Now I am home trying to catch up with the past couple of days on here...even though I really should be working on a paper for my college class :p

Today was playgroup. Took Daniel up there, paid membership fees and all that (I'm only new up there, 3rd week this week) and Daniel just disappears into the huge sandpit. It's held at a pre-school so they have this awesome sandpit (better than his little clam shell at home) and no-one else is out there, just him in the sandpit I had to laugh because I take him to these things because he needs the social interaction but he just goes off by himself lol.

Then he comes in when the kids are eating fruit, and waits until they're finished before he comes and gets his. (he's not like this anywhere else, must be because he's new there) and then spends the rest of the morning with the train set. Looks like his Christmas present will be a hit. (a 100 piece wooden train set with 2 or 3 trains. Similar to the one at the preschool)

I said to him, come on it's time to go home and he says, "not exactly, I have something very important to do" lol. I've never heard him talk like that before, almost cheeky but cute, because he's using grown up words, lol.

Then while I'm outside hanging the washing out, I come back in, and find that he's helped himself to his toothpaste, smeared some on the bathroom sink, but he's cleaning his teeth, even turned the tap on. It's like he's grown up overnight, lol.

Awwwww...that's so cute!!! :D And such sophisticated language too!! Very impressive, Neenie!!

I've been picking subjects for next year's uni...I've got this passion that only really sprouted overnight to learn a language next year, and I found that I have 3 elective places to fill. I've narrowed it down to either basic German, Spanish or Italian. And I'm gonna do Business Law for one of the other elective units because it sounds fun! :D

I'm sitting at work here with a little time on my hands and thought I'd pop in and say hi to everyone. This afternoon I'll be picking up a mudcake/birthday cake for my eldest girl who turns 31 today and tonight we'll have a pizza and cake night for her with the whole family at another daughters place. Should be fun...
See ya'll...
