What are you up to today?

Well another hot one here today... no rain.
It hardly cooled down here at all last night, i woke up at 5.30am and had to throw the sheet off me.
Im working like usual today, another 12 hour day . Why do i do this to myself???

Yep, move in 10 days (just me, not the bf)...

I've packed up all my cups/plates/kitchenware (like tongs, vege peelers, etc). I'm having a 30 minute break before going on to do saucepans, and the electrical goods.

I had NO idea it had been so hot this week - the perk of working in a theatre when it's always around 20 degrees!

we only had one hot day this week it got to thirty, the rest have been under 20 degs. now its raining....

I've never lived in one house longer than six years in all my life..

I'm still at work, and to finish my day have to go to the accountants and the solictors, then I can go home and relax the rest of the day.

I've lived here for 25 years - but before that, the moves I had are countless....

I've moved a couple of times, the last one was last September when we moved into this house. I don't want to think about doing it again, so praying the real estate agents will renew the lease because if they don't I'll be moving next time with a 3 1/'2 year old and a 3 mth old. (yes been to the doc today, definitely pregnant - due next July)

I am not as excited as I thought I would be. I had blood tests today and it just reminded me of all the poking and prodding etc. that is yet to come. It's a bit different when you've "done this before" although the doc did remind me that it's not always the same second time around.

i sort of got to play in my Church's band today! i was sitting up the back doing sound aswell, so noone could see me.. lol still it sounded good.
i only played 2 songs, only because the other 3 songs were ones ive only practised a little bit so i wasnt sure exactly how they went (plus not having the music with me didnt help )

and soon im going to look at a new mobile phone

Apart from that - have had visitors & been doing heaps in the garden. Fixing up the fernery AGAIN today as well.

we had our boys/girls groups church service this morning... so instead of teaching kids connection (sunday school) i played bass in the morning service... will be doing the same tonight

my nose is still hurting after hurting it on friday at youth group... so if its still sore tomorow (which i expect it will be) i'll make an appointment to go see someone about it... hehe

Today...

Went to church for the last '40 days of purpose' service.
Went out to Sandgate Pool for a 16th (I think) bday party.
Came home.

Have had a couple of 'deep conversations' with B since then (about baptism, expectations of each other in everyday marriage stuff, etc)...

Have been resting ever since... Conversations like that always wear me out!

What did I do today? Been to play group, and got as much housework done as I feel able to today. I did tell R I just need to look after myself. I can't stop eating so end up doing twice as many dishes as usual. So far today eaten half a loaf of bread, 2 pieces of pizza, a tin of baked beans, mango, whole lot of watermelon and lots and lots of cheese cubes. The thought of eating salads just makes me feel ill. I am craving carbs and lost of them Oh yeah I forgot to add the potato I boiled and mashed just for my lunch lol. I just cannot stop eating and I feel like such a pig. All that work I put in to losing weight has gone out the window. I have sworn not to weigh myself, although when I go to the obs after Christmas (I don't have any medical appointments until 30/12 when I will be 12 wks) he is going to want to weigh me and all that, so I am hoping I can fit in lots of exercise. I need to eat so I don't get sick, but then I don't want to get too big too early. I am already a size 16! (last time around I started off a size 12/14 ended up a size 20 by the end, and then went back to size 16, never been able to get smaller than that since )THis is so different to last time when I couldn't even look at food, ended up calcium deficient and nearly ended up in hospital because I was vomiting so much. God must be gracious to me because he knows I have so many committments at home.

And I get to do it again tomorrow! Lucky me......

Mamaneenie, my sister is twelve weeks pregnant now and hasnt stopped eating since she bacame pregnant. If she doesnt keep eating she throws up... its her first baby and everyone is telling her to try and eat only healthy stuff cos she'll end up putting on too much un-neccisary weight otherwise, but there are some things (like u said salad) she cant even look at.
She's always been afraid of throwing up (she's weird) she is seriously scared of it, even more then going through labour. So she's finding it tough at the moment.
