Oh my, I was just reading about that earlier which I was so surprised to hear!! Although I haven't read that series yet, I absolutely love LOTR movies! I am excited to meet someone else who has read the Kalevala!!I really enjoy the stories of the Kalevala. Read somewhere that Väinämöinen may have given Tolkien some inspiration for the character of Gandalf. The Kalevala was a favorite of Tolkien's as well.

YESSS! A fellow addict! The waiting for another episode to drop is killer. That's awesome!!!! I love webtoons!! I was really addicted for a while. Have been waiting a few months so they would update enough that l can start binge reading them again!!!I haven't heard of that one! I will have to look it up! Will have to look it up! Some of my favorites so far are "Down to Earth" and "Cursed Princess Club"...there are others that I really loved a lot besides these, but they started getting a bit intense for my fragile nerves so I have put them off for a long time! hahaha
Goodness!!! So true!!! Sometimes it is unbearable!!! This is why I refrain for a few months with some of them!YESSS! A fellow addict! The waiting for another episode to drop is killer.
I will have to look those up and add them to my list!
it's true! The wait is unbearable! Lol.Goodness!!! So true!!! Sometimes it is unbearable!!! This is why I refrain for a few months with some of them!I feel that "Cursed Princess Club" is especially wholesome, so if you do look it up I hope you enjoy it too!!! If you have any more recommendations I would love to hear!
Yay!!!it's true! The wait is unbearable! Lol.
Nice, I like a wholesome read every now and then.
My friend bullied me into reading Devilish Romance. First couple episodes are a little slow, but I'm hooked now. It's different, more wholesome than you'd expect, and hilarious with a side of genuine emotional drama.
Also Tower of God. Which I can only describe as Game of Thrones mixed with Hunger Games mixed with Lost. There's an anime based on it too.
You should! And haha, yes! Crushes on fictional characters is 1000 percent approved.Yay!!!Ohhh! I will have to look that one up! I need more webtoons in my life to binge on and develop impossible crushes on fictional characters.
If that last one is similar to those shows it might be a bit too intense for me! hahaha!
Okay this is good! Because there are some fabulous fictional characters in webtoons! You should! And haha, yes! Crushes on fictional characters is 1000 percent approved.
So it's like Game of Thrones, because there are so many characters and factions, and all they all have their own hidden agendas, and backstories, and motivations, and there's so many betrayals, backstabs, double-crosses, etc. It's like Hunger Games because every story arc is essentially based on a different level of the Tower, and each level presents some kind of organized challenge, competition, puzzle, etc that must be won/solved before moving on to the next level.
And like Lost because it's kind of mystical and mysterious. I think it's only on the intense side of things, because it really gets you connected to the characters, and when someone betrays them, you feel that secondhand hurt in a way.
Yeah, it might not be for you. lolOkay this is good! Because there are some fabulous fictional characters in webtoons!
Ohh, I see! Sounds interesting although intense!! I might have a look at it, although might not be for me... I'm a bit sensitive sometimes, but depends on my mood!![]()
