The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. I just spent the last 40 mintutes playing scrabble with my plush spider (it is one of those baskets to put candy in that is plush). Yes how pathedic is that. Why did I do that?...cause I wanted to escape the wrath of my only friend/roommate. We are arging again, she is not sleeping cause she is so upset about me not wanting to obsess over that actor that she adores. She is so happy talking to her father but is so cold towards me cause I don't like that actor. I feel that I want to be dead cause I have no one around me, but I wanted to "wash" those feelings away so I grabbed my plush spider and played scrabble. My roommate hated it cause she wanted to argue to have me see things ONLY in her eyes, I won't God is more important to me than that SILLY actor (who I still think COULD HAVE sold his soul, I dunno)
Oh if you are wondering he (the plush spider has a name) won by only 3 points. I even took a pic of his victory.
Yes I consider my stuffed animals more of a best friend than my only friend, so sad. My stuffed animals is all I have here on earth, I have no family and friends, sad but true.
