I have been drinking sage tea to aid healing and I have also been taking flu tablets off and on but I don't think the infection in my chest is getting much better any more, though it is not as bad as it was last week. I suppose I just have to sick it out.:o

Hope you get better. I know I was paranoid about the flu a while back after my brother got it, but you tend to get only one illness per winter! Although, it's technically summer where you are...

Praying for you. Please hold on. I have experienced similar feelings lately. As much as I hate to admit it, I have come frighteningly close to ending my life on a few occasions recently, yet I feel my family does not take my depression seriously. As selfish as it is, I just find myself wondering - how can they be so happy while I no longer wish to live? I am envious of what I perceive to be their ability to live so carefree.

However, logically, I believe I am probably filtering reality through "depression tinted glasses." I struggle to see the good in life anymore. Please try being open and expressing your feelings with your loved ones. I think the odds are fair that there is a misunderstanding on one side; either they truly do care and it is simply not easy to perceive or they are not aware of your feelings.

Thank you all for the responses and prayers. God bless you Jeshu. I pray you get well soon. Little Lucy is struggling to hang on. She can get somewhat better but not cured. She will wind her life down. She is on Lipotabs to reduce the fat in her liver and lots of heat here to keep her temperature up. I am keeping the cage door shut so she doesn't expend energy that she needs to live. She really needs prayers.

Yeah. It's a typical thing in my city though, I feel sorry for those who live way out in the country side and the smaller towns, those trains go on forever. It's really annoying on a game night because cops regulate traffic (mostly to catch drunk drivers and stop accidents), and it's heavy from people out of state (mostly Minnesota and Canada), and bam, long train.

Been feeling a little down lately. :/

Yes I know what you mean, life can be so bad that we don't want anything to do with it any more. In light of God's Word we want death to come to bad life so that good life can be resurrected. This is very much better than giving in to the lie depression sets up for us where suicide is supposed to be the way out.

This is what I encourage you to do. Build on God's promises and let positive and healthy thoughts dominate your heart and mind. Honestly true God's loving goodness will destroy your bad life and bring you your good life back.
