We give thanks

I am thankful that I got my crown done on my tooth yesterday. I have been waiting 17 years to get it done! I had started on it, and had a temporary and then we moved and life happened and the temp eventually came off. So then I decided to straighten my teeth before getting it done. So now I can cross THAT off my bucket list!

I am thankful my son is going to college even though he said he is only going for me and hates school and doesn't really want to go. He promised his sister that he would try it for a year gggggrrrrr! I wish she would have told him to just go and do it and not the try it for a year carp but I am praying praying praying because I really really really don't want him to throw away a free education!

I am thankful that I was able to do an impression at the dentist and not choke! THAT is a big deal!

I am thankful that the kid that is staying with us is finally getting a car!

I am thankful that the people on this forum are so real, maybe even more real than IRL. Thankful that I can be real here too.

I don't know her, but even for me it's hard when you aren't the one, even if you don't want to be the one, does that make sense? So IOW, she may say she's fine with it, but maybe deep down she won't be. You will know if she continues to be your friend or not.

Today....I am thankful that I made it to Friday!

Thankful that our roommate is getting his car today

Thankful that I talked to him about staying at our house AND contributing financially.

Thankful that my friend with cancer is going to Alaska to visit a friend that lives there.

Thankful that school is about to start for my youngest. 2 weeks!

My GF's granddaughter started school this week in Payson. And then around here in some cities (not mine) they have a modified school year where it's kinda like year round and they start this week or next if I'm not mistaken. California schools and Washington don't start until September, but then my kid gets out before Memorial Day and the ones that start in September don't get out until mid June so....yeah

Lupus support cancelled today and I could get some things done.

Thank you for the pastors sermon today about "not quiting" in the church and Revelation.
Thank you for Napanee Missionarys church's sermon that was for married folks putitng family first. Just about the time I thought, what about singles, yeah yeah yeah... He said, singles don't think this is something you should have skipped. And he explained about an older aunt never married that took care of him as a kid with love. Thank you Lord that your holy spirit is active and alive and working in and around me.

Thankful for my health as I think of my BIL who is having quadruple bypass surgery all of a sudden!
Thankful for my small group, even though I don't feel like a total "fit"
Thankful that my 5 day in a row of working my extra job is ending tonight and I have 3 days off (of one job anyway) to rest
Thankful for my relationship with my older son that seems to be getting better.
And most of all this week I am Thankful THAT MY OLDER SON WENT TO CHURCH WITH ME! it was all on his own, I didn't even know he was planning to go until we were talking and he casually mentioned that this girl he likes is going to church with him the next day and I was like WHA??? SO SO SO Thankful! Thank you Jesus!

Also Thankful that Social Security decided to forgive me the 435.00 they "overpaid" me and I don't have to pay it back! THAT is kind of unheard of really.

I am thankful today to have acted quickly and responsibly after a co-worker criticized me. Thank you, God, for instantly delivered wisdom.
I am thankful for the Word and its truth.
I am thankful to have received support on CF today.
I am thankful to be going to bed soon.
I am thankful for the financial stability God gave me.

I am thankful that my BIL made it thru quadruple bypass surgery without a hitch. He's in alot of pain, but that's how it goes with major surgery. He is alive and God is not done with him yet.

I am thankful that my 5 day stint at my second job is over and I have 3 days to rest. I still have to work my 1st job, as I'm doing now

I am thankful that God continues to have patience with me, and is showing me his faithfulness and allowing me to accept it.

I am thankful that He chose me and knows everything about me and STILL loves me.

I am thankful that He gave me compassion for others and even those I do not know IRL
