So all the bible translators were wrong an we have no bible?
Grace = undeserved favor. You deny this and think you deserve salvationThat verse says nothing that will support your beliefs. Why wouldn't the quickening be "believe then repent then be born-again" which would be in harmony with every other verse about salvation in the Bible? There is nothing in that entire chapter that supports your statement, but in fact Ephesians 2:8 supports the opposite. It is by grace we are saved through faith, meaning that faith comes before grace and salvation.
Study the passage and see for yourself. What?!
Yes, but before the new birth, the flesh is all you have to work with.Okay. You are not getting it. I want to just stop for a moment. Please read Galatians 5 and ask yourself is Paul talking to believers when he writes Galatians 5:16? If so, then he is telling them to walk in the Spirit so that they will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

In other words, the servant who is not looking for their Lord will come in a day when He is not aware and the Lord will cut him off and appoint his portion with the unbelievers. Granted, I believe this is talking about those who miss out on the Rapture; And yes, they will have an opportunity to repent, but the Rapture does not happen in the course of the life of every believer.

Paul shows us what the flesh is = you before the New Birth. And then he shows us what the New Birth is. Before you were born again, you had only the flesh to work with. It loves sin and hates righteousness (Christ). And it could explain why you hate the Christ I represent.Paul says shortly before, that if they seek to be justified by the Law, they have fallen from grace. What Law? All Law? No.
Galatians 5:2 says that they were seeking to be circumcised. But Paul says if they were to do that, Christ will profit them nothing. Then Paul tells them later which Laws they would break can cause a loss of their salvation (See Galatians 5:19-21).
In other words, the Galatians did start out right, but they were in danger spiritually with God because some of them were trying to be saved through circumcision.
A person cannot fall from grace unless they once had grace.
A person cannot fall from a cliff unless they were on a cliff.

What makes you think this has anything to do with a new fangled 19th century North American pious notion of a 'rapture' that the church had never before held in nearly two millenium of its existence. This text more probably refers to the judgment. That will be when sheep will be sorted from goats and 'servants' will be either rewarded, punished or put with the unbelieving 'goats'. Servants are disciples. Goats are not. You most certainly will find nothing in this or any other text concerning a 'Rapture'. The word does not appear anywhere in the scriptures. All an innovation and product of imaginative modern dispensationalism.

If you take away the Spirit, what is left that would choose Christ? You are not addressing my points.

While I did bring up the Rapture, it was not my intention to do an endless debate about it. The point I was trying to make was that you cannot commit grievous unrepentant sin and still be saved. It doesn't work like that. Please address my other points in Scripture that condemns your belief. Thank you.
Before you were born again, you had only the flesh as a base to work from. Nothing in it would ever recognize the real Jesus much less want anything to do with him. Please go back and read my post.
Golly. What happens if you stop meeting the conditions of salvation? What if salvation has no conditions but is a free gift from God?
How can I be saved according to your view of the matter?Golly.
