CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ugh! My husband can be such a jerk. We're always joking and playing around with each other but every once in a while he gets ticked off about absolutely nothing. I wish there was some kind of signal or something that I could use to know which is the time he's going to get bent out of shape so I can just ignore him and go about my business.

My sisters are so selfish! They have made it clear that they just don't care that my child is dead, when they get to keep all eight of theirs. She refuses to even try to have breakfast with me without her children present. why did I have to get stuck with callous, self-centered sisters when our parents aren't that way at all?

I hate Apple. I was just bragging to one of my coworkers about how I could show her easily how to save a voicemail she got to a sound file and we could make it an MP3 because I've done it on my phone before (Android) and it would be easy. Come to find out that visual voicemail is so different on the iPhone and in order to do it you need a special app or an audio cable. Why Apple?

I have no idea. I have not liked Apple for a long time. I pretty much refuse to do anything with Apple products, even though the kids seem to like them. They would rather have an iPod over an MP3 player even though they all do the same thing and the iPod costs 3x the amount.
