  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The book of Revelation is one of the easiest books of the Bible to interpret.
The main requirement is to have a general knowledge of the first 65 books.

The main thing to remember is that revelation is written in chronological order.
Jesus told John to write the book in 3 parts.
1.The things that were....1st chapter
2. The things that are....chapters w and 3
3.The things that will be.......chapters 4=20
Things that were in chapter one tells of Christ eartly years. Chapters 2 and 3 talk about the present, church years.
Chapter 4-20 Rapture, tribulation, millennium and final ending.
God bless

I must admit I laughed audibly when reading this.

Edit: I was laughing even while writing this comment.

Somewhat yes
Jesus told John to write the book in 3 parts.
1.The things that were....1st chapter

The revealing of Jesus in his glory
2. The things that are....chapters w and
The letters written to the 7 churches in Asia Minor

3.The things that will be.......chapters 4=20
The future
Things that were in chapter one tells of Christ eartly years.
No it reveals the appearance of the glorification of Jesus .. the same appearance we will possess 1 John 3:2

Chapters 2 and 3 talk about the present, church years.
Some say it describes 7 church ages.

Chapter 4-20 Rapture, tribulation, millennium and final ending.
There is no rapture scriptures in revelation for the present church…well I take that back some say there may be 2 rapture verses in revelation
John yahannah means gods grace was taken to heaven a picture of the rapture and church in heaven to witness the judgment to come next on earth

Also the Philadelphia church has an open door that some believe could be the picture of the rapture

But Our rapture takes place many years before the judgement events takes place
Starting with the first seal

But it does reveal a resurrection for the martyred saints of the tribulation …

And a rapture of 144000 firstfruits of Israel who will not die ..

And the death resurrection and ascension of Enoch and their beloved Elijah

God bless
God bless

Here is a fantastic biblical breakdown of the Book of Revelations by John F. Wolvoord...It is the most complete I have ever read. It will dispel the many misinterpretations that are out there. It is best-read Chapter by Chapter BUT it is chapter specific.
