That is absolutely disgusting!! I do not care what side of the union debate anyone is on that is deplorable. The article is dated today. If it happened ANY time with in the last 2 days it just exploits both situations.

The speaker had the audacity to state that he was a minister. Intimidate him using his daughter's vulnerability. And then bring this type of nonsense into his church.

There's a theory in sociology that believing one to be on the righteous side of a dispute fills an individual with a sense of moral license which he uses to shut up his conscience when it pricks him. Accordingly, the better one thinks one's cause, the worse one tends to act.
