i know i've asked this before but i didn't get that many answers.. if you don't feel comfy answering thats fine but im just curious...........

when TTC... do you make sure you have sex more when you're ovulating, do you do it every day, every other day? or do you just not even keep track and just do it whenever! im just curious if you find yourself doing it more when you are TTC than when you're not?

Sweetbella, YES, lol....every other day for a two week window and a little bit more than that on what I feel to be the super fertile three day window. It adds up to twice as much sex in a month.

Hmmm...probabaly the one that clearly says in writing "pregnant or not pregnant." You have to be a bit more patient to take that one (a day before your period) and it's not cheap, but it's the best in my opinin, because you don't go cross-eyed looking for a line.

Well, I forgot to take my ovulation test last night, so I took it this morning. It's positive. I'm going to call my doctor. He's either going to have me in today or tomorrow.

I'm so glad you came, Gracefaith! I also swore that I would never come in a TTC thread. But Hubby has almost no concept of my deep desire to be pg and it's nice to talk to other ladies who understand.


My story....three days ago, I took a test and got two very thin blue lines (in the pg box). Of course, the next day I took another test and got a negative. And today got a negative. And later today, got AWFUL cramps and AF. Oh brother. I guess I got one of those rare, fluke positives or the test was defective (probably the case). It made for a rough three days and I'm glad that's all over and I can start again. I wasted fifteen dollars on tests!

No go this month for us either. My BBT stayed up all weekend but I started spotting on schedule with my period. Slight dip in BBT this morning, I expect AF in full force sometime today.

Sorry about your testing fiasco. Kinda makes me glad I waited and didn't wind up buying one.

AF is pesky - in one way you welcome her, and in another way you despise her.

Doctor set it up for tomorrow afternoon, so I only have to take 1/2 day off work.

TTC starts again full swing soon....I am praying that I have peace and not panic. My first day of teaching is in one week and I simply do not want to deal with "am I pg, am I pg" panic. I know you ladies can relate.

It went well - he didn't have to unfold my uterus this time. Let the TWW begin!!

I find it strangely ironic that my husband couldn't be with me because he had to attend a mandatory sexual harassment seminar for work. If I get pregnant this time, I'll have so much material to give him trouble about for a long time to come. Like when junior gets old enough to tell him how he was made - "no, honey, daddy wasn't even in the room"... I love it!!

My doctor did say that if it doesn't happen this month, he'll start me on clomid since I am ovulating late in the cycle.

*Immersed myself in the Steve Irwin Tribute today, which only ran for an hour but shook me up a bit. I don't think there was a dry eye in Brisbane between 9 and 10AM.


Now I am pondering personalised plates (vanity plates for Americans)

Still...there are baby thoughts always on the edge of my mind...:o

Congratulations on the car and thanks for the fingers crossing.

I've kept myself so busy at work at home that I can go through large amounts of time without thinking about babies. There was a baby kidnapped not far from where my husband's family lives that made national news, so that's kind of forced the issue. Thankfully, the baby is now safely back and the person who kidnapped her is (I think) behind bars, or will be soon.
