Sometimes I am so patient. Other times I'm not at all!
When is your tww over?
I want to ask people to pray for us but I don't want people to know we're ttc!! :) I always like to surprise people when I tell them we're pg. I also don't want everyone wondering whats taking so long, and its kinda sweet to share this only with hubby.
Do you guys tell people you're ttc?

WARNING TMI ALERT:holy:

At work today, I felt those "ew, period is here" sort of feelings, but when I had a second to use the bathroom, I found creamy white stuff on my underwear. Is that CM? Since when does it come out sort of like a period? Sorry so graphic ladies:hug:

On the non TMI side, all is well on my end. I would like to get to know you ladies a bit more other than we all want babies. For instance, you know I'm a preschool teacher and just started, now it's your turn. What sorts of jobs do you have? What's your favorite season and why.....you know, that sort of stuff:thumbsup:
Hah! I know what that's like. You're just standing around, minding you own business when...ew...I feel goopy.

Hubby and I just moved to a new area and I'm supposed to be a SAHA (a stay at home artist). Mostly, I'm just lonely, right now because I don't have any way of meeting new people.

Anyhoo, this is only our second month of TTC our first child. (About 4 days from O day!) Last month, I charted and being able to watch the thermometer each morning seemed to help pass the time while waiting to test.

My favorite season is spring. I love seeing all the plants come to life.

 Yay, add to the question list!
Okay so far we have...

What do you do besides wait to test:p
What is your favorite season (mine is fall too, faith!)
How long have you been TTC (about two weeks:cool: )
What baby # is this? (Numero uno for me)

1. During the day, I'm a litigation paralegal for a plaintiff's firm. I work on enviornmental cases, products liability involving pharmaceutical and medical device cases and a little tiny bit of medical malpractice. My favorite cases to work on are childhood lead poisoning.

When not at work, I go to Weight Watchers on Wednesday nights, and the rest of the time, Hubby and I are doing something, whether it be working on our house or seeing friends. We also dote heavilly on our two neices and two nephews. :D

2. Fall. I love the leaves, and I love Oktoberfest! Go out in the country on a Sunday and some church somewhere has a german sausage dinner going on. Yum!

3. Officially 3 months, but we've spent 3 years having tests done, and deciding whether or not to go with donor sperm.

4. Uno!!

One of my co-workers just gave me a St. Gerard medallion. St. Gerard is the patron saint for prengancy and childbirth. I'm not Catholic anymore, but I'm still kind of partial to the saints, and I'll take all the help I can get. Just looked up the prayer. If any Catholics here need it, here it is:

O good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before the throne of God, wonder-worker of our day, I call upon you and seek your help. While on earth, you always fulfilled God's designs; help me, too, always do God's holy will. Beseech the master of life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, to bless me with offspring, that I may raise up children to God in this life and heirs to the kingdom of God's glory in the life to come.
Amen

Hi everyone,
I'm totally new here but I've been reading this thread the last twenty minutes and wanted to say hi. I'm 29, have 3 boys, and trying for #4.
Sweetbella, we have so much in common, because I also get my period only 3 - 5 times a year. It means you're not ovulating every month. But the good news is that it doesn't mean you can't conceive. With my first and third, we conceived right away because I happened to be ovulating. With my second, I went on seraphine, which is like clomid to help me ovulate. It worked immediately and there were no side effects at all. My cousin also got pregnant this way. Thanks to the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler I learned so much about my body and now I can tell when ovulation is happening. I also use my thermometer, though it took a little while for me to get the hang of it.
I haven't read too many posts here, so I may have missed much of what you said which might mean that this post isn't too helpful to you, but I thought I'd come on, say hello and say that I don't mind sharing my experiences with you or anyone else.
I pray that we both become pregnant soon!! And that we both ovulate.
From
Rachel (faithingrace)

thank you for the encouragement!

Wow, gracefaith we are um..cycle buddies:o That means we can suffer in the TWW together:hug:
I'm sooooo grateful for my new job that keeps me super busy! I am determined not to waste money on a single test...until I miss a period. :prayer: I pray for self-control.
Yeah, me too. People are always like, 'Test! Test!' No way. I can't stand looking at those negative tests. I'm going to always try and wait until I'm late.

 Okay, I'm confused....:help:

I thought the TWW is the time you are not likey to get pg (although you can still try), so you wait until AF comes (or doesn't).
The thing is, when I checked the best times to baby dance on the ovulation calculator thing, it said Oct 2-7th. That would only leave ONE week of waiting for me, since AF falls on the 15th. Is the TWW supposed to be until the END of your AF? That would explain my confusion...I think:scratch:

The two week wait is the time period between ovulation, and when you are most likely to find out you are pregnant. This is of course assuming you have a 28 day cycle and ovulated on the 14th day of it. It is the two weeks you wait after you ovulate wondering "Am I pregnant, When can I test" etc.

Ok I think I have a good distraction tonight (in the middle of my 2WW) NRL Grand Final! (ok this will probably only make sense to those who are in Australia)

Hubby and I found a new place to live...it's sort of in the city here, on a street that runs along the top of some cliffs that border part of the river. (Kangaroo Point to any Aussies) Prime real estate in other words. We're renting it, and it's absolutely tiny, so I told hubby if we have a bub we'll just have to leave the bottom drawer open in the chest, and keep baby in that :p

The best time to have intercouse is the time right before ovulation up to when ovulation occurs and twentyfour hours after. After that happens, then the tww is just the waiting time to see if you are preggers.:prayer:

I'm using a thermometer but I haven't yet started recording results. I started this morning.

Before I o, my temp ranges from 36.2-26.6. After I o, my temp ranges from 36.6 and up. Wouldn't you know this morning it was righgt on 36.6! And I am trying to find out if I've ovulated yet. Ah.. I hope tomorrow's temp sheds some light. My face is full of acne which usually only occurs after ovulation, but I give up trying to make sense of it all! LOL.

Beth, doing the bed dance after you ovulate really doesn't make much sense! Maybe you ovulated late??

Hopefully we'll all figure out our bodies soon! Or even better, that we won't have to because we'll be pg!

Baby dancing the day or a couple days after ovuating is definitely a good idea. The egg can remain in the fallopian tube for a few days.

Hm, I have no idea. We are just going to keep up the baby dancing every other night until Oct 9th or 10th (just in case since I don't know when I'm ovulating, exactly). If we don't fall pg this month, I'll get serious and do the charting/temp stuff. I hope I don't have to. I hope this is our month, ladies!!
By the way, how you do you feel about breaking it to the TTC crew when you do get pg? There is this odd "congrats/hurt/jealousy" thing that goes on with me when someone shares the big news. Are you ladies going to tell right away on this thread? Just curious:)

LOL Yeah, I've been having this fantasy where you and I get preggers the same month and then have a race to the finish line to see who gives birth first. Having the same O-date means we'd have the same due date if we got pregnant the same month.

We have the same plan as you Beth.. bd every other night from now until the deed is done. lol ;)
How about everyone just get pg all at the same time? :) But if not, I'd love to hear positive news from someone so I can pray for them! And praise God.
Right now I am praying for patience! I would take a pg test every day if they were free. lol
